Story
This sweet boy is Bruno! He is an approximately 4-year old Pointer/Cattle Dog mix who weighs around 50 lbs. Bruno was adopted as a puppy but returned at 10 months old. The family felt he was too much energy for an apartment and that he needed a home with more time for him and a yard. Bruno is an fun loving goofy dog with plenty of playful energy. He absolutely loves to play and go for walks. He will need a yard and an active family who can spend time with him and give him daily exercise. He also really needs a family who will give him mental stimulation as well such a food puzzles, snuffle matts, and teaching him new tricks. He is a really smart dog and his main issue in his old home is just lack of time spent with him. He spent too much time in a crate and not enough time getting to run and use his brain. If you are looking for a fun dog to spend your time with, Bruno is your dog. If you are looking for a walking or running companion, Bruno is your dog. If your energetic dog needs an energetic friend, Bruno is your dog. Bruno is crate, leash, and house trained. He is good with most other dogs and has played in small groups at a daycare, but can be selective. Due to his energy, I wouldn't put him with young children but children 8 and up would be great for him. He has lived with children in the past and was fine. Bruno needs a stockade fenced backyard and to meet all dogs in the household before adoption. Bruno is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $250. If you would like to adopt Bruno and make him a part of your family, please apply at FYDRadopt.com. Bruno is in a boarding situation at this time so he qualifies as a foster-to-adopt or as just a foster. If you are interested in fostering Bruno, please complete our foster application at www.foreveryoursokc.org/foster-application.

Story
Looking for a new friend? Buddy can be your go-to best buddy! This young pup is athletic, funny, playful, friendly, and great with other dogs. He's an outgoing dog who loves to run around and play, but he's also perfectly content to relax and take it easy — especially with his favorite humans. If you're looking for a fun-loving medium-sized dog, look no further than Buddy Rich! He is built to bring joy and laughter to your life, and he'll always be up for a game of fetch or a walk in the park. Ask us about your next best Buddy today — you won't regret it! Buddy is a little over a year old and around 37 pounds. Interested in becoming this pup’s forever home? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application. If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs — for them, one application will be fine. Because we have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, your application may be missed if you only apply once. Find more adoptable pets, news, and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions finding our fur babies the most loving homes. Please do not apply if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Buddy the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. Our adoption fee is $175. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age-appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention, and travel expenses. All our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for their transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.

Story
This adorable guy is Mason! He is an approximately 4-year old, Mastiff/Pointer mix who weighs around 98 lbs. He is a short stocky guy – a total goofball! Mason is a special needs kid as he is completely deaf. Otherwise, he is a funny, energetic, playful boy like any other dog. Mason absolutely loves to play! He would play all day if he could. He loves toys and he especially loves other dogs. He loves to put everything in his mouth so you will definitely need to watch this little cutie and teach him about toys vs shoes. Mason will require a securely fenced yard with a 6 ft. fence. Because he is deaf, he cannot hear another dog correct him with a growl so he is going to need a home with another dog who is kind, patient, and playful! He will need an active family who can spend lots of time with him and give him plenty of exercise. Mason is house-trained to a doggy door. He will adjust without one, but accidents might happen at first. He is crate and leash trained. Mason is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $250. He will require another dog, a fenced yard, an approved application and a home visit for adoption. Therefore, only those located in OKC area will be approved. To adopt Mason, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply.

Molly is a 5 yr old English Pointer with the sweetest personality. She is crate trained, housetrained, spayed, microchipped, and shots up to date. Molly loves to play and then come in and snuggle with her people. She loves kids and gets along with other dogs. She does pull a little on a leash because she is so excited to go for walks. Foster doesn't have cats, but she is a hunting dog breed and she chases squirrels so not sure how she would react to a cat

Story
Copper was found roaming the streets of OKC malnourished and scarred. He’s turned into the most amazing little boy who loves his foster siblings and everyone he meets. Patience isn’t his virtue but he is very tolerant of the children (and puppies) he meets. During the day he’s all play but at nighttime he wants to cuddle up under a blanket and enjoy his little luxurious life. He loves his siblings, food and anything that involves jumping all over the backyard. Copper would be a wonderful addition to any family or a companion for someone wanting an adventure buddy.

Story
Jordy is a 2.5-year-old, 60-pound German Shorthaired Pointer/Pittie mix looking for his forever family. This handsome boy is house trained, kennel trained, and has also done well being left unkenneled in the house while his people are away. (We always recommend starting with a kennel in a new environment until everyone gets into a routine.) Jordy does great with small dogs but would be best in a home without bigger dogs. He has done just fine with cats that are accustomed to living with dogs! He would likely do well with older children (13+ years) who can help him burn off some of his energy. A happy, friendly guy, Jordy enjoys fetch and loves to snuggle up for naps when playtime is over. He’s very food-motivated and is currently working on his leash manners. This handsome boy would make a great walking buddy. Because he’s a fast eater, he does best with a slow feeder bowl. A fenced yard (preferably 6 ft privacy fence) would be ideal. Jordy is a sweet doggo who is ready for a family that can give him the fun and love he deserves. With the right home, he’ll be an incredible companion and a joyful addition to the family. If you think your home would be a good fit for him, apply to meet / adopt Jordy at www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application or email muttmisfitsadoptions@gmail.com with any inquiries. Jordy, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $75. He does not have any special needs or take any medications.
