Lucy is 3 years old and is very loving and sweet. She loves kids and the outdoors. She’s fully potty trained and knows how to sit, lay, shake, and circle. She’s very sweet we had to move due to an abusive ex husband and our new landlord’s won’t allow her. She’s currently staying with my mom but she already has 3 dogs. She just needs a family or person to love her.

  Sadie is a 2 and a half year old white, black, and brown mixed breed 50 lb dog. She is good with other dogs, people, and kids. She has high energy and requires sufficient exercise and play to stay relaxed. It would be best for her to have a large, fenced-in backyard to run around in. She loves chasing squirrels, birds, etc. and watching over her place. Sadie is also a very sweet dog that loves cuddling and affection, and will take any opportunity to give you kisses. She does require some additional training to aid in her reactiveness to people at the front door, separation anxiety when leaving her for long periods, and counter-surfing for food. She has been working on all these fronts and is trainable, but still has some to go. She will make a great dog for a family willing to give her proper exercise, training, and most importantly, love! ##1616518##

Sadie was adopted by a member of the family last year. Sadly she did not have a backyard to play in or a job to do and was very board. This led to some behavioral issues, so Sadie was taken to professional training at Sit Means Sit. Sadie excelled at training and graduated with honors as she is very responsive to commands and extremely intelligent. Even a well trained dog will get bored and misbehave without something to do. Her family had decided it would be best to put Sadie down. This was unacceptable to other members of the family so we have been sharing fostering duty over the last 6 months. Sadie has been around children ages 2 to 8 and loves them. She is a very sweet girl! She is house and crate trained and in her foster homes has gotten along well with 4 other dogs. She is very high energy and an excellent watch dog. She is up to date with all of her shots. We want to find her a forever home with someone who will love her like we do.

We have a fostering to adopt program to make sure the pet is a good fit for your family. Please research this breed of pet before considering foster / adopting. First submit an application. Once the application has been reviewed and approved. You will be contacted for an interview. You will need to submit veterinary references and contact information of your current Vet. A home check may be conducted. Foster / Adopters must have a fenced in yard. Once approved an appointment will be set up to meet the pet. If approved then the Foster to Adopt application will be signed by both parties. We will need original signatures. Rocket is a pointer mix. He is a stray that was brought to the rescue. He loves to play and is very energetic. He is good with other dogs. Adopters must have a fenced in yard.
