Toffee is a 3.5–4-month-old, 20lb puppy, who’s all legs, sweetness, and curiosity. She’s a fun, gentle girl with a naturally shy side, but her confidence grows more each day as she learns about the world around her. She’s currently thriving in a busy foster home with two female resident dogs, three cats, and two teenagers ... she’s handling the everyday chaos beautifully. Toffee is doing great with both house-training and crate-training, and she absolutely loves playing with other dogs. Because Toffee takes cues from confident pups, she will do best in a home with a friendly, well-adjusted dog companion who can help show her the ropes. She’s still learning polite manners with cats (she’s more playful than they prefer), but she’s eager to please and making steady progress with guidance. Toffee is a loving, thoughtful puppy who will blossom in a patient home that can continue building her confidence and helping her shine. Story
Kate is a beautiful Pointer/Boarder Collie mix who desperately needs a rescue commitment or adopter to make it out of a crowded rural animal control facility where adoption traffic is extremely low and time is not on their side. Despite the stress of shelter life, Kate has remained sweet, social, and eager to learn. She's quickly figured out that leash walks are fun and happily heads out to explore with her handlers. She keeps a clean kennel, gets along well with other dogs, and doesn't appear to mind cats. Kate enjoys people and happily meets everyone at the front of her kennel door, ready for whatever they have in store. Kate has all the makings of a wonderful family companion; she just needs the opportunity to prove it in a home environment. With her gentle nature, striking looks, and easygoing personality, it's hard to understand why she will be overlooked. Kate has done her part by staying hopeful. Now she needs a rescue partner or adopter willing to give her the chance she deserves. Please consider helping this deserving girl find her way to safety. Heartworm negative and currently on monthly prevention.
