Gretchen is a pointer who arrived at Hallie Hill with a few extra pounds in tow. As soon as she arrived to Hallie Hill, we ran her bloodwork for hypothyroidism and sure enough- she has an excuse for her largess. She has started medication so with her proper diet should be trimming up soon.

Meet Bark Twain! This adorable 1 year old pointer/lab mix came to us from a local shelter with his siblings after they were seized from a sad hoarding situation. Now, he is living the good life in a foster home! From mastering his potty training, to being crate trained within 4 days, Twain is a smart boy who's got it all. He loves other dogs and does great with cats - he's even met horses and donkeys! He is a sucker for a good cuddle and is VERY treat motivated, which makes training this handsome guy a breeze. He is a high energy, athletic boy who is ready to go go go all the time! Bark Twain will need some tlc and love to work on his confidence around new people and places, but as long as he's got his people by his side, he's ready to take on the world! We promised Bark Twain that the rest of his life, would be the best of his life. I’m Arby’s, an affectionate, stunningly handsome young pointer mix!I’m a playful, energetic young man, and I have a permanent smile on my face. I love playtime, walk time, snuggle time, treat time – I have an infectious upbeat personality!I came to the Humane Society of York County as a stray. I’m a medium-size boy, about 35-40 pounds, but not quite finished growing. My estimated birth date is July 2024.I’m dog-friendly and love playing with other youngsters at the rescue. I also love to get my energy out with a good walk, but also like to stop for a rest, people-watching and some treats or a good chew toy. I’m an affectionate pup with my humans, too, and love to deliver some wet kisses and a hug.I’ve attended school at Zoom Room and showed what a smart boy I am.
