Meet Bark Twain! This adorable 1 year old pointer/lab mix came to us from a local shelter with his siblings after they were seized from a sad hoarding situation. Now, he is living the good life in a foster home! From mastering his potty training, to being crate trained within 4 days, Twain is a smart boy who's got it all. He loves other dogs and does great with cats - he's even met horses and donkeys! He is a sucker for a good cuddle and is VERY treat motivated, which makes training this handsome guy a breeze. He is a high energy, athletic boy who is ready to go go go all the time! Bark Twain will need some tlc and love to work on his confidence around new people and places, but as long as he's got his people by his side, he's ready to take on the world! We promised Bark Twain that the rest of his life, would be the best of his life. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If my bio shows “Spay/Neutered” with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 24 hours after my procedure is completed.If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
