Story
Meet Ellah! ELLAH IS AVAILABLE AS A FOSTER TO ADOPT ! She has been overlooked way too long---1 whole year to be exact! She is in a foster kennel situation and would really love to be in a home with more attention. Ellah is a 2 year old mixed breed dog (born ~12/2020) that was found as a stray, most likely she was dumped. She had a home at some point and is very mild mannered and sweet. Ellah is affectionate and friendly and it is hard to imagine why she was dumped, and left to fend for herself. She is doing great with the other dogs at her foster home. Ellah is healthy and tested negative for HW. She is up to date on her shots now and is spayed. She is full grown and weighs 50 pounds. Ellah is currently in a boarding facility and would so appreciate her own HOME! Ellah is currently in TN but will be transported north to New England for adoption. The adoption donation is $300 which includes a health certificate and costs for his/her transport north. *Unless stated otherwise, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, on flea/tick product and heartworm prevention medicine (if older than 5 months) and micro chipped prior to adoption. *Please note that while we do our best to accurately state the breed or breed mix of a dog, we often have very limited information to draw from. Identifying the breed without pedigrees and information on heritage can be very challenging! If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please go to www.angelsamongusanimalrescue.org and fill out an online adoption application. Thank you! Massachusett's Residents: Effective September 28, 2017 a Quarantine Fee of $100 will be required (in addition to the adoption fee) to adopt a dog that has been Quarantined. Massachusetts mandates that all dogs entering MA shall be quarantined for 48 hours in a state approved facility.

Story
Meet Punky Brewster Fostering in Arkansas Here's the link to our adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/201317338010137 Throw me to the wolves And I’ll come back Leading the pack!! This describes the personality of our little Punky Brewster. Found as a stray in Tennessee, she is not scared of anything. She walked into her foster home with two German Shepherds, Great Dane mix, Pit Bull mix and a Boxer mix and let everyone know that she is not scared of anything. She only turns her sass off when she is sleeping. Punky’s foster mom says she is also filled with sugar sweetness, just chooses to not show it as much. She is very smart, sometimes too smart for her own good. She catches on to schedules quickly and will let you know if you get off schedule. Punky loves to play, loves a little yogurt in her food and loves good cuddle time when she is ready to dial it down for a while. She lives life to the fullest and is looking for a family that would like to do the same with her. Punky is up for great adventures and fun with her family. She is fostering with 8 other dogs and doesn’t realize that she is the smallest of them all. She is good for playtime or cuddle time with any of them. She has meet kids from ages of 1 to 17. She does very well with all the kids but is still a young puppy and will need supervision with smaller kids. Punky is house-trained (does have a dog door), crate trained and has pretty good house manners. She will need a new home that understands she will need time, consistence, patience and lots of love while she adjusts to her new home. If you think this sassy firecracker would make a great addition to your home, use the link below to apply. ADOPTION INFORMATION: We are a foster-based animal rescue and we thank you for your interest in one of our animals. Our fosters and adoption coordinators are the backbone of what we do. Our fosters work tirelessly to integrate our rescue animals into their home, so that we can provide as much information to potential adopters as possible. In addition, our coordinators offer as much information regarding the medical and behavioral and personality characteristics as is known to our organization. Without them, and our extremely generous donors, we would not be able to save as many animals as we do every day. With each adoption, we operate a Pay It Forward program, whenever possible, to help other animals in our rescue and future animals in need. If you are interested in one of our animals, please complete an application. The application link can be found on our Petfinder homepage under the picture. You may also find our application on our website at www.petmatchmakerrescue.com under the Adopt page. If they are listed on our website, their adoptions have not been finalized yet. That does not mean that we have not received several applications, already. Please complete an application if you are interested and we will keep you apprised of their current status. We are all volunteers that work full-time jobs, so please be patient with us. We will get back with you as quickly as possible. If you are interested in fostering for our organization, please complete an application. The application link can be found on our Petfinder homepage under the picture.

Story
Cooper is a young pointer mix, around  1-1/2 years old and approximately 35 lbs. He was found minutes from death, starved and sick. After much care and amazing vets, he’s now a healthy, happy boy. He still enjoys puppy playtime, but has learned rules, manners & boundaries while with his foster family. Cooper is crate and house trained, loves to take walks, play in the yard and does a few tricks for treats. He does good on his walks, friendly to people and other dogs he meets. He’s been great playing with all dogs at daycare. His favorite thing to do is wrestle with his four legged foster sister, but overall he’s very calm and has lazy days. He’s shy at first, but warms up after you gain his trust. We do not recommend young children in the home as they may not understand that boundary and can frighten him. He is sometimes timid when meeting men, but will relax once he’s gotten to know them and trust is gained. Once you’re his person, he will follow you anywhere and loves to love! Cooper just needs someone who is patient, to give him the time to warm up to them. He goes everywhere with his foster mom, loves head pets and giving out kisses. Due to his rough start in life, Cooper does have special dietary needs. He requires reduced-fat dog foods and is on a prescription of pancreatic enzymes, which runs around $50 a month. We hope that won’t deter you from adopting this sweet, sweet boy!  He would love a home and family to call his own! Can you be his forever person? Cooper has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150 If you have any questions, please email us at:  newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .
