Story
Caramello was found abandoned and left to die. This dog was emaciated, full of parasites, covered in fleas and ticks, and a skin infection. In addition to these problems this poor boy had a painful prolapsed rectum. He was immediately carried to the vet where his rectum was stitched and he was started on antibiotics & other meds. An amazing foster took him in the healing began. He has gained over 15lbs, his hair is growing back, and he has learned to be a pet!

Team Memphis Rescue (TMRS) went to visit another dog and discovered that MAS had pulled her card for euthanization. After a quick intervention, they sat on the ground for a few minutes, and when we took her out, we realized the shelter had it all wrong—Gemma was ready to shine! She took off playing and having the time of her life. So we just took her right out the front door to start her new chapter. **Personality** Now, Gemma is officially your shadow! This little lady is dog-friendly and playful, but don’t be surprised if she plays hard to get with new people—she’s shy at first, but once she warms up, prepare for some serious cuddle time. Gemma has a refined palate and insists on soft treats over hard ones; she’s basically a canine connoisseur! Her favorite pastime? Lounging on blankets like royalty—because why sit on the floor when you can live like a queen? She is potty trained and has mastered the art of staying in her crate like a pro. Story
Rosie will be 5 years old in June and weighs about 40 lbs (at last visit).  She’s an amazing family dog, would do best with an active family. She loves kids, strangers and other dogs. Loves to play, go for walks, and throw the ball. Super cooperative for baths and nail trim, extremely affectionate and cuddly.  She is also very smart–she knows sit, shake, down, stay, watch out, and come. Very teachable with treats. Sleeps a LOT and doesn’t get up until I do.  I have all her records and chip info.  She is a great dog and deserves a good home.
