Story
Hi there! My name is Lucy. I’m a 40-lb female Small German Shorthaired Pointer mix living in Columbia, Tennessee, and I’ve been told I have a bright spirit and a joyful personality.I was found as a stray back in December, but since then I’ve been safe and well cared for. Now I’m hoping to find my very own forever home where I can get lots of love, companionship, and fun things to do with my people.I’m a friendly girl who loves being part of the action. If you’re gardening, walking around the yard, or just hanging out, I’ll be happy to join you! I would do best with a family that enjoys including their dog in daily life. I’m pretty adaptable too, so I could fit in well with many kinds of homes—even ones with land or other animals.I’m crate-trained and already have a good foundation to build on. I’m not quite leash-trained yet, but I’m eager to learn and would love someone who can help teach me. I have no bite history and no known behavioral issues.I get along well with children, other dogs, and even horses, so I could be a great fit for a family home or a place with a little land.Health-wise, I’m in great shape! I’m spayed, heartworm-negative, and fully up to date on my vaccinations, including DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, and CIV.What I’m really looking for is an active, loving home where I can get plenty of attention, exercise, and time with my people. I promise to be a loyal, happy companion who’s always excited to see you.If you think we might be the perfect match, please have your humans contact Mary Ruth Rogers. She’s hoping a foster or adopter will spring her from boarding! This girl loves people, loves other dogs, and loves her toys!!! She REALLY loves her food and can be a little aggressive about it so all you need to do is feed her in a separate spot if you have other dogs  She is a pointer mix about 1-2 years old and 35 pounds! Very pretty girl! She would love to be in a home! Apply online or email russellrescuetn@gmail.com if already approvedAvailable dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters. The application is the first step. Story
My name is Max. I’m 7 months old, up to date on my shots, microchipped and neutered. I love to play with other dogs and cats and cuddle with my human. I love to chew on bones, sleep under the bed and play in the yard with other pets like me. I am loyal and would love for someone to take me home. My current mom loves me a lot, but she works long hours. She wants what’s best for me, and that’s a loving, caring family who has time for me. Please adopt me.

Bobo is a bright-eyed lovebug, and he is now ready to meet his new family! He is around 6 months old and believed to be a Labrador Retriever/Pointer mix. He was found roaming and the folks that found him were unable to keep him, though they surely wanted to keep his sweet self! He is also up to date on vaccines and just waiting to be altered.
