Story
This beautiful English Pointer is a 1-year-old hike-loving, adventure-seeking tornado of fun! She’s athletic, spirited, and always up for anything. If you’re looking for a dog who can keep up with an active lifestyle, Freckles might be your perfect match. Freckles adores running, exploring, and entertaining herself with toys—she’s happiest when she has space to move and something to do. While she’s affectionate and enjoys people, her young age means playtime and discovery are top priorities right now. She’s friendly with everyone she meets and would thrive with adults or school-aged kids who can appreciate (and manage!) her enthusiasm. Freckles can enjoy canine companionship, but she’s a bit dog-selective and sometimes comes on strong when she wants to play. With the right dog and proper introductions, she can have a blast—but she’d also be perfectly content being your one-and-only adventure buddy. This energetic, joyful pup is looking for a home that will embrace her lively personality, provide plenty of exercise, and help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. Ready to keep up with Freckles? She’s ready to run straight into your heart.

Story
Meet Bandit - a 5 year old, Pointer / Bulldog, who weighed 55 pounds (as of 5/7/25). His current foster shares: "Bandit is a lovable guy who is really ready to settle in with his forever family. He likes to give hugs to his favorite people, and is very smart, and cares deeply for his family. Bandit gets along great with other dogs (prefers females), and he is also good with cats and chickens, too! He likes to roam if left unattended so it is best to have a good fenced in yard where he has freedom to explore. Bandit likes to snuggle at bedtime and will need to be comforted during big & scary, loud storms. He is house trained, gentle, and walks well on a leash. Bandit would really like to go on some fun adventures and to be someone’s best friend. Are you looking for a new friend? Bandit may be your perfect match!" To learn more about Bandit, please fill out the adoption application on our MARC website www.marc4change.org His adoption fee is $275.00

Wilder is one of the most lovable boys; he has been at the shelter since he was a pup of 3 months old. He doesn’t get much interest and we have no clue why. He's beautiful and so sweet. Wilder would excel with an active family or family who hikes. Wilder would do best with older children. He is good with dogs and cats! Don’t forget to check out this sweet boy on our website at HSNWGA.orgTo adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.

Story
Hi, my name is Quest I’ve been at the shelter since I was 3months old. Although, I get lots of love from the volunteers I would love to find a home before Christmas. I spent my first Christmas at the shelter. I would love to be adopted and have a family. I’m good with other dogs and seem to even be okay with cats. I’m pretty good on a leash. I’m nervous about car rides but doing much better. I’m not completely housebroken but I’ve been doing my best. I am a very sweet and loving girl who’s ready to find her forever home. I would do best with older children in the home or even a playmate! Story
Hi there… I’m Gabby Sue A 58 lb spayed liver/white/roan Brittany/GSP/Mix girl with a whole lot of love to give I’m what you’d call the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. I’ll have my little bursts of energy (because, well… zoomies are important ), and then I’m right back by your side, ready to snuggle up and be your couch buddy. Honestly… I’d be perfectly happy being your full-time cuddle companion. I really love my people… like, “I’d rather be right under you than pose for pictures” kind of love Because I love so big, I’d do best as your one and only pup—so I can soak up all the attention and give it right back to you tenfold. I’ll also need a physical fenced yard so I can safely enjoy my outdoor time and little bursts of fun. My story almost didn’t have a happy ending… I was scheduled for euthanasia, my babies were taken away, and I was so scared and crying But kind people stepped in just in time—and now I’m safe, loved, and ready for my real forever home. I’m healthy, heartworm & tick negative, and on prevention—just waiting for someone to choose me. All I want is a home full of love… and someone to call mine The adoption fee for OK/Gabby Sue,  who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $325, (which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Gabby Sue part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Please let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  Also, please email the state coordinator of OK/Gabby Sue-Melinde Waddle @ macgammy@gmail.com  Once approved by your state coordinator, I will be able to talk to you on Gabby Sue.   Transportation can be arranged up  to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.  May 21, 2026, 6:42 pm
