Story
OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF:Walter is a friendly dog that is curious but cautious of new situations. He seems to want to engage in play with other dogs here at the shelter. Walter is a bit scared of our cats here at the shelter. He knows the sit and down commands and will need some work walking on a leash as he pulls a bit. Weighs 40 pounds, $25 to adopt, comes with a $40 neuter voucher to go towards the cost of his neuter.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. &#239&#187&#191Hey there, I'm Siggi, your soon-to-be best furry friend! At just around 6 months old, I'm a male herding dog mix, weighing in at a cool 30 pounds. Oh, and yep, I've been neutered and up to date on vaccines – all set and ready to find my forever home! I've got energy to spare, just like my breed. Adventures? Count me in! Exploring new places and cruising in the car are some of my favorite pastimes. And hey, I get along swimmingly with other dogs – playdates are always welcome! I've never been around cats. On an outing I met a few children and was excited to say hi, but my foster family doesn't have those around so I'm a little unsure of how I'd do with kids. But wait, there's more to me than just being a fun-loving pup. I'm also a quick learner! Training sessions? Bring 'em on! I thrive on learning new tricks and showing off my smarts. Now, here's the scoop on my chill side – I'm great at hanging out on my dog bed, especially at night. Plus, I'm fully potty trained, so no worries there. And while I do pretty well in a crate, I gotta admit, I need my exercise and mental stimulation before I'm ready to settle down for too long. So, if you're on the hunt for a loyal buddy who's up for adventures by day and chill hangouts by night, look no further – I'm Siggi, your new partner in crime! Apply to adopt me today! https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 23, 2024, 4:32 pm

Story
🐾Meet Kelce!🐾 Introducing Kelce, a delightful puppy with a heart full of joy and an eager, curious nature! We suspect she might be a Pointer mix, and her adorable charm and playful spirit are undeniable. Rescued from an area with one of the highest euthanasia rates in the US, choosing Kelce not only means saving her life but also helps make space for another puppy in desperate need. She embodies the playful puppy lifestyle—playing, napping, and repeating with boundless energy and affection. Kelce is still in the puppy stage, which means she's in the prime time for training and socializing. She's starting to get the hang of potty and crate training, but she'll need a family committed to continuing her education and obedience. Her adoptive family must be committed to crate training, ensuring she has a safe and comfortable environment as she grows. Imagine going on walks, hikes, or just showing off around the neighborhood with Kelce when she's ready—she'll be the perfect companion for any adventure. Prepare to receive endless kisses and love from this sweet girl, making every day brighter with her in your life! Take the chance to welcome Kelce into your home and heart, where she promises to be a loyal and loving best friend.🐾 Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/65ce4dc1fa859cde01022b6d Please email Tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.
