Story
Meet Bran – the Sweetest Little Snuggle Bug! Bran is a gentle, sweet-natured puppy with a heart of gold, just waiting for his forever home. This adorable boy might be a little timid when you first meet him, but once he warms up, he’ll be your loyal cuddle buddy for life. Bran absolutely loves snuggling up with his humans and thrives on affection and attention. Bran has been raised around multiple dogs and has no aggression at all – he’s truly a kind soul who loves the company of others, both canine and human. He’s also comfortable with cats and has been around our kitten, so he’d likely do well in a home with cats or other furry friends. With a healthy appetite and a love for chew bones, Bran has some favorite treats that he enjoys during his downtime. While Bran is a pro at sitting on command, he’s still working on his potty training skills (about 75% of the way there!). He’s a quick learner and, with patience and consistency, will pick it up in no time. He’s comfortable in his crate, sleeping through the night and resting peacefully when his people are out. Bran would make a wonderful addition to almost any household, whether you have other pets or he’s your one-and-only. His sweet, adaptable nature means he’d fit in well with just about any family. He’s ready to shower his new family with love, loyalty, and plenty of snuggles! To add Bran to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2136640##

Story
* Currently fostered in Tacoma, WA Oh my heck, this sweet boy cannot be anymore perfect! MooMoo aka Eustace, is the literal definition of a family dog. I have personally had him around my 10 month old son who is in that in between stage of crawling and walking. MooMoo was completely un-phased by the falling, stumbling, throwing of toys, random movements, rolling around, baby babbles, crying, the obnoxious baby jingles, the bulky walker, and was even un-phased by my son crashing his walker into the walls. There was even a moment when my son coughed and MooMoo came to check on him and gave him sweet kisses as if he was trying to comfort him. MooMoo laid on the bed with us and enjoyed the snuggles, even resting his head on my son while we were all snuggling. I honestly believe he would have taken a nap with us for my son's nap time. MooMoo has also been around kids ages 7 and 13 and he was as gentle as they come with them as well. He was gentle taking treats from them, shared his toys with them, never tried to jump on them, nor was he overly pushy for affection. He's literally perfect around kids. I love him!! If you're looking for a family dog, no need to look any further because you found one right here! Watch his video and see how amazing he is with kids: https://youtu.be/rsErjAGMsBc?si=PJgjz7VqXXWr-Yb6 MooMoo is a Pointer lab mix approximately 1 year old without the energy of a typical 1 year old dog. He is a mellow chill guy, that with play for short bursts every now and then and that's about it. He get's most excited when he's laying on a bed or a couch because he likes to roll around, nuzzling himself into the blankets or into the pillows until he finds a cozy spot. He is just such an easy dog to be around. Don't let his pictures fool you, he may look like a big dog but he's not! He is on the smaller side currently only weighing 43 lbs making him the perfect mix. Not too big and not too small. MooMoo is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. MooMoo is dog friendly and has done great around dogs his size and bigger and has even done great around dogs that are 12lbs. He's not very playful with other dogs and enjoys just hanging out in the yard enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. He will play every now and then and his play style consists of simply romping and running around with other dogs and never getting too rowdy. In a home, MooMoo would do best with another calm relaxed female dog that will be happy to lounge around the house together and one that will enjoy some play time here and there. He would also do great as your one and only dog as well because he loves people so much. He's not the kind of dog that needs the company of other dogs to make him feel comfortable or open up, he's already a natural born lover. He would honestly probably love to be the center of your attention. MooMoo would also do best in a kitty free home. MooMoo is very easy to walk on a leash and hardly ever pulls. Half the time when you're walking him, the leash it self is typically just hanging there because of how much of a relaxed walker he is. He is the perfect walking companion to take with you around the neighborhood or if you have some scenic trails you like to go to. He'll enjoy the leisurely pace and will enjoy the quality time y'all will share together. He is crate and potty trained as well and already knows some basic commands such a sit. He is treat motivated and loves jerky treats! We are willing to test MooMoo with anything you need us to in order to ensure it is a perfect match for you. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. Story
Puppy breath, puppy kisses, puppy snuggles- what’s not to love? Lacy is estimated to be 5 months old. She’s a confident, happy and friendly little puppy with big paws and an even bigger heart! We think she may be a Heeler, English Pointer, Lab mix but she’s both a rescue and a puppy, so it can be hard to tell! This is simply a best guess. Fall in love with Lacy here: https://youtu.be/QuvIQbyTWCw?feature=shared From the moment you meet her, Lacy will be working hard to steal your heart. She’s incredibly affectionate with everyone she meets, and beloved by those who know her best. Currently fostered in a loving home, Lucy is living the good life with three large dogs and two kids in the home. Lacy is so gentle, sweet and excited with the kids. She’s seriously perfect family dog material! Lacy loves her stuffed toy Lambchop, and she’ll take it just about anywhere with her. You can usually find sweet Lacy hauling a toy across the yard in her mouth, or settled on the floor with a stuffy between her paws. Obviously Lacy is ridiculously cute, she’s seriously a show stopper- be warned that walking her is akin to walking in a parade, lots of waving, smiling and stopping to spread cheer. You’ll make lots of new friends with a puppy this cute and friendly by your side! (Her leash skills are coming along nicely too, she’s ready for adventuring already!) Her foster mom comments, “she has a spot on her side that looks like a clover, but when she lays down it shapes into a heart.” With other dogs, Lacy is absolutely amazing. She’s puppyish in all of the best ways, and confident enough to play with the big dogs. She roughhouses and plays chase with her doggy foster siblings! We even got to see her meet a new dog for the very first time. She met a happy, friendly and playful bully mix named Willow. The two were instant besties, and enjoyed playtime, treat sharing and affection sharing together. We got to see her meet Biggie the kitty as well, and she passed her cat test with flying colors! See for yourself in her adoption video. Lacy is cat tolerant and could live with a dog savvy kitty. Lacy is ready for her happily ever after! She’s not too picky about her forever home, and promises to get along with your dogs, cats and/or kids! She’ll feel like a member of the family in no time, and you’ll instantly wonder how you ever lived without her! We are willing to test Lacy with anything you need us to in order to ensure she is the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know.
