Marvin is a sweet and noble dog, 1.5 years old and 30 pounds. He was hanging around the shelter for a couple of weeks, he was given food, water and some love, but we decided to take him in when he arrived really injured and covered in blood, we think he was attacked by dogs. Fortunately in his medical checkup he didn't come out with many problems, and he is now healthy and ready for his new home! He knows how to coexist with other dogs, although he has his temper, he is usually very tolerant with effusive puppies. He likes to sleep in his giant bed, is crate-trained, house-trained and is sociable and friendly with new people. He knows how to ride in a car, and smiles when you scold him, he is adorable! We don't know exactly what breed he is, google lens finds a resemblance to an English Pointer and Andalusian ratter. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

I have beautiful, soulful eyes and a handsome face. I do great with other dogs, and love to fetch balls and bring them back to you. I don't bark much, unless someone barks at me. I walk nicely on a leash, though I'm quite strong, so could use a strong owner. I don't shed much either! I love treats and am an all-around great dog to have around. I was rescued from a California shelter after I became urgent due to lack of space. While there, I was kenneled with another female dog and did great. I've been tested with several dogs and have done well with everyone. I love people and am an easy-going boy. My only fault? I do not like cats, so would do best in a home without them!
