Story
Hi! My name is Jake and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 11/25/24.I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!I am considered a large breed dog.I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other large dogs. When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.

Story
Meet Bran – the Sweetest Little Snuggle Bug! Bran is a gentle, sweet-natured puppy with a heart of gold, just waiting for his forever home. This adorable boy might be a little timid when you first meet him, but once he warms up, he’ll be your loyal cuddle buddy for life. Bran absolutely loves snuggling up with his humans and thrives on affection and attention. Bran has been raised around multiple dogs and has no aggression at all – he’s truly a kind soul who loves the company of others, both canine and human. He’s also comfortable with cats and has been around our kitten, so he’d likely do well in a home with cats or other furry friends. With a healthy appetite and a love for chew bones, Bran has some favorite treats that he enjoys during his downtime. While Bran is a pro at sitting on command, he’s still working on his potty training skills (about 75% of the way there!). He’s a quick learner and, with patience and consistency, will pick it up in no time. He’s comfortable in his crate, sleeping through the night and resting peacefully when his people are out. Bran would make a wonderful addition to almost any household, whether you have other pets or he’s your one-and-only. His sweet, adaptable nature means he’d fit in well with just about any family. He’s ready to shower his new family with love, loyalty, and plenty of snuggles! To add Bran to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2136640##

Plus, she’s already crate trained, so she’s pretty much a furry angel. Don’t miss your chance to bring this four-legged joy machine into your life! Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis. Meet Tank – Your New Adventure Buddy! Tank is a playful and energetic boy with a zest for life and a heart full of love. This smart, lovable pup is ready to bring joy and fun to his forever home. Whether you're hiking a trail, splashing in the water, or simply lounging at home, Tank is the perfect companion. At just the right balance of brains and brawn, Tank is crate trained, potty trained, and eager to please. He’s a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is even cat-friendly! His love for water activities makes him a natural for beach days or afternoons at the lake, and he’s always up for a car ride to new adventures. Tank is neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccinations, and in great health. He’s more than just a good boy—he’s a great one! If you’re looking for a loyal, active, and loving addition to your family, Tank is ready to be your new best friend. While Tank is great with children, we believe he would thrive best in a home with older kids (10+). His playful energy and enthusiasm might be a bit too much for smaller children, as he could accidentally knock them over. Tank's ideal family will be ready to match his spirited personality and enjoy plenty of fun together! To add Tank to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. Story
MEET BUNNY! Bunny's journey is a testament to resilience and the transformative power of love. Discovered living amidst the dangers of a construction site and facing threats from workers, Bunny's early life was far from easy. But her path led her to us, and with a bit of patience and care, she has blossomed into a wonderful companion. Bunny is wonderfully trained—she’s comfortable in her crate, fully potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is a calm and happy passenger in the car. However, she has made it clear that she cannot coexist with cats—there are no exceptions to this rule. She does, however, get along well with other well-balanced dogs and enjoys the camaraderie of a pack. Bunny is not just stunningly beautiful; she’s also incredibly kind-hearted. For the ideal adopters, a high fence is a must. Bunny has proven that she can climb any chain-link fence with ease, so her new home needs to be secure. If you're looking for a loyal and loving addition to your family, Bunny just might be the perfect fit. To add Bunny to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. Story
~~THIS IS A COURTESY POST. THIS DOG IS **NOT** IN THE CARE OF THE ALTERNATIVE HUMANE SOCIETY. PLEASE REACH OUT TO THE OWNER DIRECTLY AT katies.buddytyler@gmail.com FOR MORE INFORMATION ON HIM. THANK YOU~~ This is Merlin. I Unfortunately need to find a great home for this boy. He can a little timid at first but warms up very quickly, he is so sweet and goofy and very affectionate. Unfortunately my first dog is very stressed and not doing well with the new addition. I thought a second dog would be good for her but its not working. My first dog has epilepsy and anxiety so the stress has been very bad for her. Despite proper/slow introductions. My first dog has been hospitalized for cluster seizures due to the increased stress of a new addition last week.  I don't make this decision lightly. Merlin however is VERY good with other dogs, playful and happy. He's 1 year and  2 months old, 49lbs, neutered and up to date on everything. He is a pointer mix. He would make a great hiking buddy or running buddy. He has a lot of playful energy but also love to curl up for a movie. Merlin still needs basic training but walks well on a loose leash. He's truly a wonderful boy, just sadly not a fit for my situation. : Unknown with cats but I believe he could be very slowly introduced to them if they are somewhat confident kitties and he's given adequate time to decompress in his new home first. He's taken a little longer to warm up to my husband, but my husband is very tall and dogs tend to find him intimidating at first. He may be under socialized with men. I've had him 6 weeks now and cannot make it work any longer. He's very adoptable. My first dog is the issue here. ##2240592##
