Story
Meet Oliver, he is an 8-month old, Pointer Pit. He is house trained, fix, chipped, and vax’d. We got him 6 months ago with the intention of him being a lifelong family member. He is very smart, super sweet, and will make a wonderful protector. He is great on a leash, and is friendly around other dogs. The one challenge we have been running into however is that he has developed a habit of nipping at peoples feet, mainly children. While these aren’t bites, but we cannot seem to break him if the habit. And through circumstances outside of our control, we must unfortunately rehome home Oliver as a result. Given proper time and training, we are certain Oliver will make a wonderful family pet for the proper family. Perhaps this family has older children and a secured yard to help make sure Oliver is successful in his new, forever home.

Story
I've had Fives since he was 3 months old. He's about to turn 3 years old and my schedule just doesn't let me give him the attention he needs. He can be anxious and nervous at first around new people or dogs but he warms up to them pretty quickly. He absolutely loves to swim and if you're on the couch with a blanket he will almost definitely want to be under it with you. He has lived his entire life with cats, other dogs, and children. He does shed a lot but regular baths and brushing helps a lot with that. He does love to chew but he's really good about only chewing up chew toys or stuffed animals, as he hasn't chewed up anything of mine in years. He is good on a leash and has pretty good recall and can be let off leash in remote areas like while camping. He does get anxious and whines but the more I take him out and walks or to the dog park or play with him the less anxious he gets, I just don't have the time to do that as often as he needs.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Calliope is one of our long-timers, and has been waiting for a foster or her forever home with us for 3 years! She is an energetic and playful girl and will make her forever family very happy! Calliope is a Pointer/Labrador Retriever mix, she weighs around 60 lbs and is ~4 years old. Calliope is active, and she will need a family that can keep her properly exercised. She loves the outdoors, and would make a great hiking or running partner! She would love her very own fenced yard to run and play with her family. Calliope is very sweet and can get over excited, especially in a kennel environment, she will thrive in a home that can provide continued support of basic obedience and working on not jumping when excited. Because she is large and jumpy, we are recommending no small children as she could accidently knock them over. Calliope has been doing great on walks with other dog friends in our care. She is not tested with cats. Calliope is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $450.
