Story
“Saving one dog will not change the world, but surely for that one dog, the world will change forever.” Hi! My name is Milo and I’m a happy-go-lucky tripod! You may look at me and think “poor dog, missing his leg” but actually I’m just happy to be here and to be given all the love I can handle. I was found as a stray with a leg that was broken beyond repair. I was likely discarded by a human and then hit by a car. It’s a very unfortunate reality for many dogs in the Houston area. But I didn’t let that stop me, and now I’m ready for my forever home! I don’t let my disability slow me down! I LOVE to play and run, and can keep up with the rest of the pack. I’m very dog friendly and love playing with all types of dogs. I enjoy going on walks too and am good on the leash. I love kids too, but sometimes I jump up on them, so older kids would be better for me. I really like to chase cats, but people don’t like that, so I guess I can’t have any kitty siblings. I really love people and am the biggest cuddler. Everyone tells me how sweet and loving I am. Despite the things I’ve been through, I don’t let it bring me down, and I want everyone to know how much I love them for giving me another chance. I love treats and I’m pretty smart, so training me should be pretty easy. I’m already good on my leash and I’m potty and crate trained. I’m only a year old, so I still have some young dog energy and will do best in a home with a yard where I can run and play. My new forever pawrents will need patience as I get used to life as a tripod and learn all of the house rules and expectations. I will make it all worth it by giving you my full devotion and lots of cuddles and kisses. Are you ready to provide this handsome and sweet tripod the love that he deserves? Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $750 and includes all vetting: DAPPvL4 (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $42 surcharge for transport. Story
Animal Profile: Ranger is an estimated 2-year-old 60 lb bird dog mix who is social with dogs and cats, gives great eye contact and is very receptive to training. He is BFF with Gus who is also joined us Sept 15 from Texas. Ranger was polite meeting cats at the vet clinic and does well with other dogs. He has taken well to crate training. More info to come as we get to know him in foster care.   Foster Update: Ranger is settling in well with his foster family and is proving to be a total sweetie.  He is a quick learner and he is eager to please so he’s quickly picking up a lot of the basics. Ranger loves to play and seems partial to chew toys in particular. He is also a top notch snuggle buddy. Ranger really likes to go on walks, exploring new things and he gets super excited to see new people, critters etc. His fosters are working to help him learn a bit better manners on leash that will need a bit of continued efforts from his forever family but we think he will be a great pal for any and all adventures!  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Saving Shelter Strays, a  partner in Texas and arriving to Seattle area foster care on 09/15/23. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area.October 3, 2023, 3:02 am

Story
Hi, I’m Maya, I am so glad to see you checking out my profile, I am ready to have a home I can call my own. I live with many other dogs, and we get along well together, and it is good to have someone to play with. I love my toys too, especially my stuffies. But sometimes I get excited and then they kind of blow up!I live with cats too, but I do like to chase them. Car rides are fun especially when they end up at the beach. I like the water, but I am not sure about swimming, maybe some day.If I could imagine my perfect family, they would be active where we could all go for walks or runs and hiking together. Kids would be great too; I imagine us playing in the backyard. Then we could all go in and cuddle in a warm bed. I will need some patience while I work on some of the basic training, but I know how to walk on leash really well. If it sounds like we could be the perfect family together, then just fill out an application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,Maya To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
My name is Narin, and I'm a 1-year and 5-month-old English Black Pointer girl. I have a real soft spot for humans – once I get to know you, I'll be showing off my adorable belly and showering you with all the love and cuddles you could ever dream of. I thrive on affection and sometimes, I can get a little jealous when I see others getting attention. I get along well with other dogs. Although, I must confess, when it comes to food, I can be a bit protective. If you leave a tasty treat lying around, you might hear a little growl from me as I make sure it's safe. But don't worry, I'm working on my table manners. Right now, I'm staying in a foster home, and I've been on my best behavior around the other pups here. My foster parents say I'm a quick learner and always eager to please. Being a Pointer, I've got some quirks that come with the territory. I might let out a howl from time to time, and I've got some impressive speed when I'm on the move. That's why I think I'd thrive in a home with active, young individuals who are ready for adventures. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3JzEcFIh0FJBMOlIJRUtlXdm
