Hi there - my name is Bliss, and I'm a sweet, gentle girl who's still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. I can be a little shy at first and tend to hang back until I feel comfortable, but with a quiet voice and a gentle touch, I warm up and really enjoy soft pets and calm company. I've had a lot of changes in my life lately, so I'm still finding my confidence. I do best with people who move slowly and give me time to trust - once I do, you'll see what a kind and sensitive soul I am. I absolutely love other dogs and really come out of my shell when I'm around them, so I think I would prefer a home with another dog versus not. Having a friendly canine companion in my future home would help me feel safe and supported as I continue to blossom! I'd be happiest in a calm, patient home without small children, where I can take things at my own pace. A foster or forever family who can give me time, stability, and lots of love will help me continue to grow into the brave, happy dog I'm meant to be. If you have a gentle heart and another friendly dog at home, I'd love to meet you - I might be shy, but I'm ready to start my next chapter with someone who sees the quiet sweetness in me! *Bliss is currently staying in a wonderful foster home! Story
Hi! I am quite the ball of energy and need the space to run around and play! I originally came from a home that did not train me whatsoever, but I am very smart and already learning commands. I will need an adopter that knows how to train basic commands, and is able to handle my energy! When I’m not wanting to play, I’m super snuggly and sooo soft. I like to chew on my bones and lay right next to my human. All I need is the right person to give me discipline and structure, and maybe teach me a few manners! I am a mouthy player, but never aggressive. My tail is always wagging and I never fail to stop for treats! I have not shown any signs of resource guarding, even when my foster mom puts her hands in my food or when another dog takes my treats! I am so loyal and such a fun boy to have as your best friend. All I want is the love and attention I deserve!
