Story
Meet Moet, an incredible polydactyl love bug with extra toes, an extra-big personality, and a purr that could power a tiny motorboat! This handsome boy is searching for a forever home where he can finally enjoy the love, comfort, and safety he deserves. Moet is an exceptionally people-oriented cat. He loves greeting his humans, rolling over for attention, and making biscuits with his adorable extra-toed paws. He is easily picked up and happily settles into a lap for cuddles and pets. Sit beside him and he will lean right in, soaking up every bit of affection. And if his paws aren't busy making biscuits on your lap, they may be busy making air biscuits, one of his many charming specialties! Moet is also playful and curious. He loves wand toys, balls, kicker toys, and enthusiastically visiting his cat scratchers. He enjoys watching birds through the window and would happily spend his days alternating between playtime, birdwatching, and cuddling with his favorite person. Moet would likely thrive as an only cat, where he can have plenty of human companionship, attention, and interactive play. He is a drama-free, affectionate boy who simply wants to be loved. Moet's journey to safety began during a TNR project when he wandered into one of our traps. The moment he started purring and making biscuits, we knew this was no ordinary outdoor cat. He had previously worn a collar that had fallen off, but no one came forward looking for him. It broke our hearts to think that such a loving cat had been left behind. Life outside had taken a toll on Moet's health, but he has worked hard to recover in foster care. With veterinary care, a supportive diet, and lots of love, he is now healthy, happy, and thriving. He has been treated for parasites and fleas and has successfully transitioned back to a regular high-quality canned food diet after previously needing Hill's Biome prescription food to help his digestive system recover. Moet is estimated to be 5 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and FIV and FeLV negative. This sweet, soulful boy has so much love to give. With his super-soft black fur, motorboat purrs, extra toes, playful spirit, and endless biscuits, Moet is one very special cat. Any adopter would be lucky to have this charming boy in their life.
