♥ APPLY FOR MARCIE ♥   Hey everyone! I’m Marcie, and I’m a fabulous Chihuahua mix born on October 10! I’ve checked off all the important boxes – spayed? Yup! Vaccinations? All done! Microchip? Got it! I weigh about 5 lbs now and will stay under 20 lbs when I’m fully grown. Small and adorable for life!   I’ve got to say, I’m the life of the party! Full of energy and bursting with personality, I’m as fun as they come! I get along famously with dogs my size (I imagine I’d be friends with the big ones too; I just haven’t had the chance yet!), and I think cats and respectful kids are awesome as well!   Even though I’m petite, I deserve to be treated just like everyone else. APPLY FOR COCOA I'm Cocoa, a charming little guy at around 10 months old. I'm a handsome Chihuahua mix tipping the scales at 13 lbs, and I won't be growing much larger. I've been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated to keep me healthy and happy.   My journey has been a bit of a whirlwind. I found myself wandering as a stray until I landed at the doorstep of a kind elderly lady who took me in and showed me compassion by feeding me and giving me lots of love. It's because of her that I'm now on the lookout for my forever family. Though my start in life had its challenges, my heart remains full of sweetness. I might be a tad shy at first, but I quickly open up to those who show me kindness. I'm quite fond of other dogs and children, and I tend to overlook cats, so I’d fit in well even in a household with feline friends.   What I dream of most is a forever family who will play with me and continue my training—I'm just as clever as I am lovable! ♥ APPLY FOR PEPPERMINT PATTY ♥ Hello there! I’m so excited to introduce myself! My name is Peppermint Patty, but you can call me “PP” for short—my rescue family came up with that sweet nickname just for me.    Let me tell you a little about myself. I have a special day to celebrate every year on October 10th—yep, that’s my birthday! I’m a small but mighty 5.5-pound Chihuahua mix, and I’m spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped to keep me safe and sound. As I continue to grow, I should be around 20 pounds or less when I reach my full size, which makes me the perfect little companion to have by your side!   I have quite the backstory, too! I was rescued from a hoarding situation along with my mom and siblings. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but I’ve been staying with a loving foster mom for a little while now. She has helped me decompress and feel more comfortable in my new environment, and I’m grateful for that. Now, I’m feeling ready to find my very own forever home where I can truly thrive!   As a pup, I’m known for my calm and gentle nature. I absolutely love to play, but my favorite thing in the world is to cuddle up close to my humans and just enjoy their company. There’s nothing quite like being around people who give me love and attention! I can't wait to be part of a family that continues to teach me all the wonderful things life has to offer—like how to enjoy a cozy afternoon nap or playtime in the yard!   While I haven’t had the chance to meet any big dogs yet, I get along wonderfully with other small dogs like myself. I also don’t mind cats at all! I think I would fit in well with respectful kids, too, as long as they understand that I’m a little one who needs some gentle handling. It would be amazing to have a family that could appreciate my small size and just shower me with love.   I’m so ready to find my forever home where I can share all my joy and warmth.
