Baby Bat embodies the personality, uniqueness and likeness of the Batman. First, he works alone. No sidekicks or partners. He prefers solitude and his space. Baby Bat has lived with his foster and her dog pack for 5 years, he gets along with them but tolerates them at most. He would do well in a home where he is the only dog, no children, and adults only. Next, Baby Bat is an apex predator. Which means he needs his sleep and food and not to be interrupted or coddled when given either. Baby Bat is not a lap or cuddly dog. Finally, did we mention Baby Bat is a Chihuahua mix? That's a really important detail! Baby Bat is a great and loyal dog seeking a great family to adopt him! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Looking for a little extra sweetness in your life? Fun Size is here to deliver! True to his name, this puppy is a compact bundle of joy, curiosity, and unconditional love. He might be "fun-sized" for now, but his personality is absolutely jumbo! If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2518969##

Story
Kitty is a Chihuahua–Pug mix. She is a small dog with a lot of energy. I adopted her in October from a woman who didn’t really know how to take care of dogs. Since then, I’ve trained her with a routine to go potty outside. She is doing well, although she still has occasional accidents inside the house. She is a lovely and sweet dog. She loves playing in the snow and in the garden. She enjoys walks, toys, and treats. Because she is very energetic, she would do best in a home where she is the only dog, and with an owner who has enough time to play with her and give her attention. She would also be a great companion for kids, as she is playful and affectionate. Kitty has been trying hard to adapt to my home, but since I started college and my husband began a new job that requires more of his time, we have less time to dedicate to her and her energy needs. Now Kitty is ready for a new forever family!!
