Story
Kamilla came into my life like a burst of light, all curious eyes, soft fur, and a heart bigger than her paws. From the beginning, she taught me how to slow down, how to laugh on the hard days, and how love can show up in the smallest moments. Our days were filled with learning each other, quiet companionship, and the kind of joy that only a dog can give without asking for anything in return. Right now, my body needs more care than I can give, as I recover from brain surgery, and loving Kamilla means choosing what is best for her, even when it breaks my heart. I want her to have a home where she can run, be nurtured, and continue growing into the incredible dog she is meant to be. Letting her go is not a reflection of a lack of love, but of how deeply I love her. Kamilla deserves a life full of warmth, patience, and joy, and my greatest hope is that she finds a family who will love her as fiercely and gently as she deserves.

Story
Our dog Rico is a loving 13 year old chihuahua mix, who loves to snuggle up all day. Unfortunately, after 10 years, we are in a situation where we need to rehome him. We now have a two year old and a small baby, and have sadly learned that Rico is not good with little kids, especially hyper active toddlers. Rico is great with older kids and adults, but the wildness of a toddler running around has unfortunately been too hard of an adjustment for him. He loves to spend most of his days curled up on the couch, cuddling with you, or simply potatoing in his bed. He is house trained, and rarely ever has any accidents inside the home. Rico is not good with cats. We do have one, and while they get along 90% of the time, he is always on edge around our cat. He would thrive in a home with no children or cats. He does not need too much activity, but is always up for a long walk, and still has endless energy.

Potty training in progress (responds well to Wraps & Training pads, Will go outside) Needs constant potty breaks2. crate trained.3. dog friendly (2 large resident Pitts) He plays really well with them4. loves squeaky toys5. Will hide/rest under the couch6. great apartment dog7.very cautious of people but haven’t experienced any growling or biting. He will bark, but he’s harmless the minute you get close he gets quiet. So it will take a few days for him to get used to you and trust you.8. very sweet and loves attention
