Honestly? We get it.Sierra’s story started with heartbreak after being abandoned by her owner, so her past is a bit of a mystery. But what we do know is that this girl is an absolute gem. She keeps her kennel clean, handles shelter life with grace, and seems completely unbothered by the hustle and bustle of the other dogs around her.She has a medium energy level, meaning she’s down for a nice walk, a little exploring, and then happily settling in for cuddle time and beauty rest. Her gorgeous fluffy coat will need regular brushing and grooming to keep her looking as fabulous as she knows she is.Sierra is searching for the simple things in life: love, stability, belly rubs, and a forever home where she can finally relax and be cherished the way she deserves. Compatibility with dogs, and children is currently unknown, but she’s been calm around the other shelter dogs. But NO cats please.Sierra will be available through our foster-to-adopt program, which means you can welcome her home while she completes her routine vetting with our shelter veterinarian, including spay, vaccines, heartworm testing, and a microchip — everything she needs to begin her next chapter healthy, happy, and loved.If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this fluffy little superstar, please email and submit an online dog adoption application for Sierra. FOSTER-TO-ADOPT NEEDED Meet Hannibal! Hannibal’s story starts the way too many do… tied to a tree and left behind. Now he’s here with us, trying to figure out what comes next. Let’s be honest — Hannibal is not your typical “easy” dog. And that’s exactly why he needs the right person. Hannibal is a chihuahua mix who struggles in a crate. The kennel environment is hard on him, and he lets us know it. But once he’s out? He settles, does his own thing, and is much more manageable. He is: - Potty trained - Independent - Not overly needy or clingy He is NOT: - A dress-up dog - A dog for small kids - A dog for a first-time owner Hannibal isn’t going to be the dog that instantly melts into your arms. He’s the kind of dog who needs patience, space, and someone who understands that trust takes time. He’s not a bad dog — he just hasn’t had a fair shot yet. He’s shown positive interest in other dogs, but we also think he may do best as an only pet where he can decompress and settle in at his own pace. We are unsure how he is with cats. What Hannibal needs right now is a foster-to-adopt home so we can truly see who he is outside of the shelter environment. Experienced homes only. Serious inquiries only. This is not a “jump in and figure it out” dog — he needs someone who understands dogs that require patience and structure. He’s playful, affectionate, and always ready for fun with his dog friends. Kobe does well with other dogs and has been around cats, although he can sometimes get excited and chase them when he wants to play. He likes kids too, but because he doesn’t enjoy being poked or handled too roughly, a home with older, respectful children would be the best fit for him. Kobe is fully vetted and ready to find a loving forever home where he can be spoiled and loved the way he deserves.
