Meet Smudge! ❤️
Smudge is a 10-month-old, 25 lb. Chihuahua Terrier mix with a gentle heart and a playful spirit. She’s looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to grow into the confident little dog we know she’s capable of becoming.
Smudge can be a little anxious, jumpy, and timid around new people, but with time, patience, and a predictable routine, she continues to come out of her shell. Once she trusts you and chooses you as her person, she’ll be your most loyal little shadow, happily following you wherever you go.
Smudge does best with medium to large, friendly dogs and would enjoy having a confident canine companion to help her feel secure. She is looking for a cat-free home and would do best with children ages 9 and older who can be patient, respectful of her space, and allow her to build trust at her own pace.
She’s still a puppy at heart and loves to play, but she will thrive in a calm, supportive home where she can settle in and continue gaining confidence. Watching Smudge blossom and learn to trust is incredibly rewarding, and she’ll make a wonderful companion for someone willing to give her the time, patience, and understanding she deserves.
