Story
Bella is a very sweet and silly older lady that loves to kiss and snuggle. She doesn’t have many teeth left but is a happy gal. She can bark and growl at other pets but she is not aggressive and doesn’t do anything more than that. She is great with people and kids. She is potty trained and is excellent at going to the door when she needs to go out. She needs a new home as her current owner has dementia and will be going into a long term care facility. Please help us find her a loving home to enjoy the rest of her life. ♥️

Story
Hi, I'm Baz! Quiet courage looks a lot like learning to trust the world one small step at a time. I am a seven-year-old guy who had a rough start in life, and because of that, I move slowly with new people. I am not the run up and kiss your face type. I am the watch you quietly, decide you seem safe, and then gradually let my guard down kind of dog. And when I choose to trust you, it truly means something. I need a person who understands dog behavior and believes that patience is not a weakness but a gift. Giving me space, allowing me to make choices, and letting trust grow at my pace is how you win my heart. Once I feel safe, I am incredibly smart and enjoy continuing my training using positive reinforcement. Learning together builds my confidence and strengthens our bond. And I do bond strong. Because I am a small guy at just 30 pounds, it is especially important that I am treated with the same respect you would give a larger dog. Sometimes people pick up little dogs without warning, crowd them, or push past their comfort level in ways they would never do with a big dog. I need a family who understands that my size does not mean I am automatically comfortable with everything. I deserve the same boundaries, consideration, and thoughtful handling as any dog. I am crate trained and find real comfort in routine. One of my favorite things in the world is curling up in my blankets and enjoying quiet time. Those peaceful moments are where I feel most secure. I would do best in a home with a single adult, low traffic home, who understands boundaries and can respect my need for space. I do best as the only pet and would be happiest in a home without other dogs or cats. If you are someone who finds joy in small victories, believes in meeting dogs where they are, and wants to be the person who shows a gentle soul that life can be safe and kind, then I might just be your match. I weigh 30 pounds and my adoption fee is $295 and I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to meet Baz today!

Peggy & Bug: Two Tiny Survivors Looking for Their Forever Safe Place! Some dogs find each other. These two need each other. Meet Peggy and Bug, an inseparable bonded pair with hearts far bigger than their tiny bodies. They’ve overcome more than most dogs ever should, but they haven’t let that stop them from believing in love. Peggy is a 4 year old, 5 lb. long-haired Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who proudly rocks three and a half legs after losing part of a back foot. She doesn’t let it slow her down—she’s resilient, gentle, and absolutely adorable. Bug is a 7 year, 4 lb. itty-bitty Chihuahua with the sweetest little head tilt, a reminder of a fractured skull she survived. Her tilted head does not hold her back, only adds to her charm, and once she trusts you, she’ll melt right into your lap. These two are shy when meeting new people, but don’t worry—they’re easily bribed with treats! Give them a little patience, a few snacks, and some gentle kindness, and they’ll reward you by becoming your tiny shadows and loyal cuddle buddies. They lean on each other for confidence, comfort, and courage, so they must be adopted together. Peggy and Bug are looking for a very special home where they can continue to feel safe. They would do best with: A calm, patient family willing to let them settle in at their own pace. Only small dogs—their tiny size makes living with large dogs unsafe. No small children, as accidental bumps or falls could easily injure them. A home with cats would be fine for these two gentle souls. Plenty of cozy blankets, soft beds, and laps for snuggling once they’ve decided you’re their person. These aren’t dogs looking for excitement—they’re looking for peace. For someone who understands that the best relationships are built on trust, patience, and unconditional love. If you’re willing to open your heart to two little underdogs who have already beaten the odds, you’ll gain two devoted best friends who will spend every day reminding you that the bravest hearts often come in the tiniest packages. Peggy and Bug have survived together. Now they’re looking for the forever home where they can truly thrive—together. ❤️ Peggy and Bug's adoption fee is $495 for the two of them and they are both spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to meet them today!
