Current Location: Fallston, MD Meet this little leggy lady! At 4 years old and under 10 pounds, this Chihuahua mix may be tiny, but she has plenty of personality. With her long, pencil-thin legs, super-soft coat, and big attitude, she’s pretty hard to forget. She loves fast-paced walks and is always up for an adventure. Car rides? Absolutely. Exploring new places and tagging along on outings? Even better. She’s happiest when she gets to go somewhere and be part of the action. She is pee-pad trained and house trained, although she can have an occasional accident if her human misses her usual schedule and doesn’t have a pee pad available. She’s pretty reliable when her routine is respected. She can take some time to warm up to new people, so she’ll do best with someone who is patient and lets her decide when she’s ready to be your friend. Once she trusts you, you’ll see more of her personality—and that personality definitely includes opinions. Try taking her favorite toy away and she won’t hesitate to let you know exactly how she feels about that decision! She’s a tiny dog with long legs, a soft coat, an adventurous spirit, and just the right amount of sass. If you’re looking for a little companion who wants to walk fast, ride along, explore, and keep you entertained, she could be your girl.

Hello! I'm coming to OPH on 8/19. Please check back soon for updates on my personality, and to see adorable new photos. I'm searching for... * someone who won't leave me home alone for more than 4 hrs, at least not until I am older. The older I am the more I can stay home alone. I just don't want you to get mad at me if I have accidents or chew things I'm not supposed to when you leave me for too long. I'm a puppy, so I get bored quick and when I'm bored I could get in trouble. * I am looking for my forever home, not my for right now home. So as I get bigger I need someone to teach me how to be the best dog I can be. I am young and still learning. You may want to teach me some new tricks like sit, stay, etc. Professional training will help me bond with you. That sounds like fun! * I saved the most important for last. I am hoping my new mom or dad will snuggle with me, play with me and love me forever and ever! I'm making my way north in search of my new family. Is that with you?
