All dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped current on flea, tick, hw meds and dewormer. Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in Pleasanton, Texas. Additional photos and videos will be made available to approved adopters Texas adopters will be required to pick up their adopted dogs in Pleasanton. Fayline is apx 3-4 years young and weighs 7.1 Pounds. She is a funny dog . Bad at first impressions, 100% chihuahua. She bonds quickly and fiercely. She needs a hone where someone is hone often. She likes being with her human above all else. She is great with all other dogs but would also be fine as an only dog as long as her person was home a lot. Fayline was injured a few years ago and was hit by a car and had surgery. She does have a scar on her hip and a bit of a mistep gallop when she runs but she gets around just fine. She does have some hardware in her hip/leg from that injury. Fayline was surrendered to us after her papa passed away. She has had a lot of change recently and needs a life and a family to settle into and have a routine and a lot of love. She is a great little girl, you just have to give her a minute to decide she likes you 🙂

Mascarpone is a female Chihuahua approximately two years young and weighs 7 1/2 to 8 pounds tall and slender. She is a very sweet girl but extremely shy, she is always trying to make herself smaller and does a lot of army crawling but adores attention and baby talk. She is a bit camera shy but we will attempt to get better photos by the end of the week. She is playful and great with all the other dogs, cats and kids. I think she is just coming out of her shell and learning that the world is not so scary, people can be very kind., And that she really likes chicken. 🙂 She is not feral, not aggressive, not a mean bone her body . I think at some point someone abused her or was very mean to her, she cowered a lot when we first got her in and she tries to push herself as flat to the ground as possible and is very submissive. But she also is silly, young, playful and joyful and her personality comes out more and more every day. You can see her confidence build slowly and she is really starting to shine.

All dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped current on flea, tick, hw meds and dewormer. Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in Pleasanton, Texas. Additional photos and videos will be made available to approved adopters Texas adopters will be required to pick up their adopted dogs in Pleasanton. Looking for local (San Antonio area) foster to adopt for Ernie. He is heart-worm positive . The rescue will pay all treatment expenses, he is already neutered and fully vaccinated. Ernie’s vet is in San Antonio , he will only need to go once a month for two months. He is very silly, full of life and energy. Loves other dogs, ok with cats but will try to chase and play with the cats so maybe only dog savvy cats are best. He walks well on leash and harness, be is very social and loves all people. Great with kids. Ernie is apx 1-1.5 year old and 11.5 pounds tall and slender. Adoption fee waived for foster to adopt who will bring him to his appointments and baby him through his treatment. If you are out of the SA area and wish to adopt , and take Ernie yo your own vet for treatment or do the slow kill Heartworm treatment , that is also fine and the adoption fee would still be waived , however the rescue is not able to pay for treatment outside of our own clinic.
