Greetings, my name is Duke! I am a 5-year-old male chihuahua mix. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, neutered, and microchipped. 3 words that describe me: Shy, Chill, Loyal Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I can be shy at first, but once I get to know you I'll be your best friend! I love sitting on the couch with my humans and relaxing. My ideal home would be a calm environment. Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 4/10 Housetraining Status: I am still working on it, a consistent schedule and lots of praise will help me learn quick! I should do well in a home: Due to my shy nature any children in my household will need to be 5 years or older. I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats. My favorite activities are: Relaxing with my humans and getting lots of affection Things I need work on are: I will need to work on building my confidence, basic commands, and housetraining. Any special needs: N/A Doggy day out notes: "Duke was a good boy today. He likes going on walks if short because he smaller and lower energy levels so big walks are not for him. He does not like being picked up it seems but is very food motivated and will give face kisses. He is on the shy side so you need to go slower with him. But overall, he is such a sweet boy."
