Hi, I'm Jax! 🐕 I'm a 9-year-old tan Pomeranian with a heart full of adventure and affection to share. At 16 pounds, I'm the perfect pocket-sized companion already neutered and ready to settle into your home. I came to the shelter with a collapsing trachea which is improving with medication under veterinary care. I am outgoing and friendly with everyone, but I'm an older dog that should be handled with care when being picked up/handled. It would be best if I could find a home with adults and older children to keep me safe. I love cuddling with my people, going for walks (with a harness, to keep pressure off my neck) At night, I prefer to sleep in the big bed - but I'm okay in my own bed on the floor (close to YOU, of course). I require daily brushing and will need professional grooming on a regular basis to keep my coat from getting matted. I know I sound like a lot, but I promise I will pay you back with more love and affection than you can stand!
