Story
This is little Timmy. He is a8 year Pomeranian. He came to us from our good friends at animal control. He is a gentle boy, was good for the groomer, and loves to be held. We will be having his teeth cleaned before adoption. We have no history from his past, but know his future is bright.

Story
Rocket is a one year old puppy we took in from someone who was rehoming him on a Craiglist ad. We were looking forwards to making it work in our home but unfortunately our older cat never took to him and has attempted to attack him on multiple occasions. He does seem to have a prey drive in which he chases and corners the cats so it has not been the best fit for him. He gets along great with our other dog and with our toddler. He has been great in public. He does great on car rides. He does need some more help with house training. He loves to play and loves to be outdoors so would do great with someone who loves to go out and take him everywhere. He is very sweet and fun. I hope he goes to a safe home that will be a better fit for him.

Story
Meet Kona Cabernet! Adorable 10-year-old Kona Cabernet came to us from Corona Shelter, where he had been surrendered by his owner for unknown reasons. Kona is a sweet, friendly guy who enjoys being petted once he is comfortable with someone and then gives gentle little kisses. Kona went out to dinner at a local brewery and even enjoyed live music. He also joined volunteers and other Frosted Faces at our Halloween fundraiser event at SUP Pups in San Diego where he went paddle boarding! Kona is currently on an extended Frosted Fling, giving us the chance to see what he’s like in a home environment while he enjoys the comfort of being part of a family again. His Fling Mom reports: "Kona has been with us for three weeks, and he’s made wonderful progress every single day. When Kona first arrived, he was very cautious and needed time to trust us and feel safe. With patience and gentle reassurance, he’s started to open up, and once he feels comfortable, his personality shines through. We lovingly call him our “spicy Pom Pom.” We can tell that he wants affection and love from us, but know that it needs to be given at his pace. At first, Kona was nervous about being picked up or petted, but now he allows both with no problem; however, he's not a fan of being held for long periods. He enjoys being petted and will sometimes paw at you for more, especially during belly rubs! Kona does well during bath time. He is nervous of the water, but handles it well — especially if there are treats. He did well with the groomer, too; however, he did indicate once that he needed some space. He’s eating well and enjoys his breakfast and dinner, though he sometimes gets distracted and needs a little reminder to finish. He also loves his treats! Kona is an early riser — usually up between 6:30–7:30 a.m. for a quick trip outside before heading back to bed. Kona does well on walks and doesn’t react to other dogs barking. Just keep in mind the length of the walk, as his back legs can get tired. He does okay in the car, though he prefers his own space and doesn’t like sitting too close to our dogs. Overall, he does well with our dogs; however, there are times when he will let them know to give him some space, especially when he's resting. Still, Kona has shown playful interest in one of our dogs (though she hasn’t quite joined in yet). Sometimes he even gets the zoomies and will chase after us, wanting to play—it’s adorable! He especially enjoys playing fetch with a lint dryer ball. Kona is a gentle, resilient little dog who just needs patience, love, and understanding. Once he knows he’s safe, he blossoms into a sweet, funny companion with plenty of personality. He’s looking for a calm, caring home where he can continue to grow in confidence and comfort — because this spicy Pom Pom has so much love to give."
