Rocket is a one year old puppy we took in from someone who was rehoming him on a Craiglist ad. We were looking forwards to making it work in our home but unfortunately our older cat never took to him and has attempted to attack him on multiple occasions. He does seem to have a prey drive in which he chases and corners the cats so it has not been the best fit for him. He gets along great with our other dog and with our toddler. He has been great in public. He does great on car rides. He does need some more help with house training. He loves to play and loves to be outdoors so would do great with someone who loves to go out and take him everywhere. He is very sweet and fun. I hope he goes to a safe home that will be a better fit for him.

With gentle handling and a calm environment, he has blossomed into the sweetest, most affectionate boy who forms deep bonds with his people. Ebony is housebroken, crate-trained, and loves attention. He can be nervous in new situations or with new people, but once he feels safe, he opens up quickly and truly wants to trust. He is also still gaining confidence on walkshe often stops, turns at every new sound, and looks behind him for reassurancebut he is slowly improving and learning that the world isnt so scary. Ebony does well with other dogs after proper introductions and time to settle in.
