Hi world, I’m Jakob — a 4.5-year-old Pomeranian with a big personality packed into a very fluffy, very handsome little body. 💁♂️✨
I like to think of myself as a certified lover-boy. If you have hands, they belong on me. I demand pets from everyone I meet — it’s kind of my thing. I’m energetic, playful, loving, loyal, confident… basically the full package. I’m always happy (seriously, always) unless I’m left alone too long. Then I’ll sing you the song of my people. Some say I might be part pomsky because my howl is that impressive. 🎶
I’m leash trained, house trained, and I get along great with other dogs — big and small! I especially love confident small dog friends who can keep up with my puppy energy. If there’s a big dog in the home, they need to be well trained since I’m just a little guy and can’t roughhouse like the big pups. No grumpy older dogs please — I’m a lot of fun and not everyone appreciates my enthusiasm (or my… um… hobbies).
About that — I do have a bit of a marking and mounting habit. When I go outside, I like to leave my signature in at least 10 different spots. Efficiency is not my strong suit. I’ll need a patient human who can continue working with me on that. I’m learning, I promise!
I LOVE walks — but I believe in stopping to smell every single scent. What’s the rush? The world is fascinating! I also adore sitting by the window and supervising the neighborhood. If you work from home or you’re retired, we are going to be soulmates. I want to be near my humans 24/7. Kennels are not my vibe — I’ll howl to file a complaint. Apartment living is totally fine as long as you’re home often.
I’d do best in a small family (1–3 people) with older kids (10+). I’m a delicate little prince — sometimes I wince when picked up, and I have a bump on my rump that means you’ll need to handle me gently. No young kiddos who might scoop me up too fast, please!
My dream home?
* Humans who are home most of the time
* Maybe a small, confident dog sibling (but I can be your one and only!)
* A fenced or unfenced yard, or even an apartment — as long as I get my walks and my people
* Lots of patience, love, and PETS. Did I mention pets?
If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate shadow who will greet you like you’ve been gone for 84 years every time you leave the room, I’m your guy. I promise to fill your home with love, laughter, and maybe just a little dramatic howling.

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
