Petunia is a sweet, gentle little lady who lives for love and companionship. She’s happiest when she’s close to her person and will gladly follow you from room to room, always wanting to be part of whatever you’re doing—your very own loyal little shadow. Cuddling is her specialty, and she would be more than content spending her days lounging beside you, soaking up affection and giving it right back. Petunia has a calm, loving nature that makes her an easy and wonderful companion. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and is kind and friendly with everyone she meets. Whether it’s a quiet afternoon at home or a cozy evening on the couch, Petunia is simply happy to be by your side. She’s ready to find her forever home—a place where she can settle in, be loved, and spend her days doing what she does best: cuddling close and loving her people.

Story
Bear is a 6-year-old Pomeranian rescued from a rural shelter and he currently lives in a foster home with other little dogs. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations but he is heartworm positive and is currently going thru slow treatment due to his size. Treatment is a once-a month heartgard med and we are able to provide the med until he is cleared. No hard play for him but little walks and roaming in the back yard are great. Bear is very laid-back and independent. He does not need to be groomed as he has fairly short hair but he is combed daily. He is good with other dogs. He has improved tremendously but he still has accidents in the house and sometimes wears a diaper. An all-adult quiet and patient family would be perfect for this charming little guy. We are located in Palm City, FL and we'll accept only local applications (Martin, St Lucie, North Palm Beach) as he must finish his Heartworm treatment with his vet in Stuart (all paid by the rescue)
