Dudley trots right along while going for walks, and enjoys taking in all the smells. Dudley enjoys soft treats and a soft lap. This guy is the epitome of a sweet little old man. (below) The PCH! adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and/or a leash to pick up and their ID. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. Cats and kittens are required to leave in a pet carrier. If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!: Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the black Pet Central Helps! semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720). Park in the parking lot and enter the facility. A PCH! representative will greet you and show you to the adoption room. Your new pet will be handed to you. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at PetSmart – Bloomington, IL: Park in the PetSmart (1606 E. Empire St.) Parking lot and enter the store. We will be set up just inside the store entrance. Let us know you are here to pick up your pet! A PCH! representative will confirm your information and hand you your pet. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at the Cat’s Meow Cafe: Navigate to PetSmart, park in the parking lot and enter the store. Locate a PCH! Representative at our adoption table and let them know you are picking up a Cat Cafe Cat. You will sign your final contract with your counselor and snap a picture of the completed screen. Head to the Cat’s Meow Cafe at 507 N. Hershey Rd and provide them with the snapshot of your final contract. They will get your cat and take a “Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. PCH! supports a 30-day no-fault return policy in which adopters are given the opportunity to find a better match. Foxanne is a 9-year-old, 13-pound Pomeranian who has had a really rough change in her life. Within just days, she lost both her human mom and her canine sibling. That’s a lot for any little dog to suddenly have turned upside down. Thankfully, Foxanne still seems to think people are pretty wonderful. She is great with people and also does well with other small dogs. After everything she’s lost, we think having people around who enjoy her company will mean a lot to her. Foxanne is not particularly high energy. She is, however, a Pomeranian, and apparently believes silence is terribly overrated. 😂 She likes the sound of her own voice and isn’t afraid to contribute to the conversation. She’s not bouncing around barking nonstop—she just has opinions and occasionally feels they should be shared. She’s okay in a crate, does fine on a leash, and rides well in the car. Cats are still an unknown. Mostly, Foxanne is looking for a soft place to land after losing the family she knew. At nine, she still has plenty of life ahead of her, and we’d really like the next part to be an easy one. She may look a little like a floofy black cloud, but there’s no rainy day hiding in there. Meringue is a 3-year-old, 9-pound Pomeranian. She may think she needs to taste test you when she first meets you. 😮Watch those fingers! Once she decides you pass inspection, you quickly realize that underneath that tiny bit of sass is a girl who is sweet as pie. Meringue does well with other small dogs and would be happy with little canine friends. Cats are still a work in progress, so we’re continuing to learn how she feels about them. Kids are a no for Meringue. She would prefer a home where the people understand that sometimes a girl needs a minute before everyone starts touching her. Meringue is okay in a crate, although she may cry about the injustice of it. She’s not usually a big barker otherwise. She does fine in the car and does okay on a leash.
