Story
Introducing one of the cutest Pomeranians you will ever meet! Taquito is a 7-month-old pom mix puppy, but 'Taquito' was too much of a name for such a little guy, so now we call him Tico. This puppy is a live-wire! He loves to run and sometimes plays fetch. He just loves to run, run and run some more. This is most likely due to the fact that he sustained a badly broken hind knee/leg that had to be surgically repaired and left him on strict exercise restrictions for what seemed a lifetime to him. After all of that nonsense, Tico is now ready to become part of a forever family! He is very smart and learns things quickly and would be a good fit for a young energetic person or family, but Tico may not be a good fit for older adults. He is very quick on his feet and could trip you up. Young children are an easy target for a hyper puppy: he thinks it's so much fun to jump and run circles around little humans. Also, he is a small puppy with very sharp puppy teeth, which he hasn't yet learned to keep to himself, he will need a patient person to spend time teaching him good manners. Tico met his first cat recently and was interested, but not pushy. He is currently living with several other small dogs and although they don’t actively play with him, he does listen when they tell him 'enough'. He is very good about being in his playpen and willingly goes in when told 'place'. He sleeps through the night and has not messed in his playpen, but he will need to be carried or hustled out the door to go potty. He has been known to 'stop and piddle' before reaching the door. Overall, Tico is a good puppy with some quirks that his new humans will need to adjust to or spend time teaching him otherwise. All dogs go to their new homes spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on preventatives and age-appropriate vaccinations.
