Meet Dexter 🐾 4.5 years old • Pomeranian • Small, fluffy shadow-in-training Dexter is settling into life outside of a breeding environment and figuring out all the normal “pet dog” things—like following his person from room to room and claiming a spot right next to you at bedtime. Once he knows you, he’s all in. Expect a loyal little sidekick who keeps tabs on your every move. From his foster: Good with cats Does well with small to medium dogs No food aggression (he’ll actually just walk away if others crowd him) Comfortable being picked up Navigates stairs like a pro Curious and likes to explore He’s making progress with potty habits—he will go outside but still uses a belly band indoors at times. He was just neutered, which should help with marking as he settles into a routine. Leash walking hasn’t been tested yet, so he’ll need a patient home willing to teach him the basics and keep building his confidence. He’s not a “plug and play” dog—but he’s also not complicated. Just needs consistency, a little guidance, and someone who’s around enough to appreciate having a constant (very cute) companion. Dexter is the kind of dog who bonds closely and sticks by his person. If you’re looking for a small dog who wants to be with you—not just near you—he might be your guy.
