In his foster home, he is working hard on house training, crate training, and leash walking. He could join households with kids 5+, and other playful dogs. No cats, please!His foster says, `Toby is adorableness wrapped in a 10lb body that makes him look like a tiny fox. If you remember Chester from Looney Tunes, that is who Toby resembles. Thankfully, that chapter of his life is over, and now he's ready for a family that will never leave him behind. At just 4 months old, this adorable Pomeranian mix is the happiest, spunkiest little guy you'll ever meet. He likes to put on a tough act by barking at strangers, but don't let that fool you. Within seconds he's running over to cover them in kisses and make a new friend. Buster loves to cuddle, sleep with his people, and be wherever the action is. This feisty little guy isn’t afraid to share his opinions, but he’s also incredibly loving and happiest glued to his person. Max is housebroken, has no food aggression, and enjoys a moderate activity level. He does resource guard his person, so a one person home would be best. He gets along with other dogs but can become very barky when his person gives them attention. Max can be vocal, so apartment living isn’t a good fit. He would walk to New England to find his forever family if we let him. He see's his leash and he is ready to GO. He was brought to the shelter because his gorgeous coat requires upkeep.
