💙 Meet Arlo – a little dog with a big heart and some seriously beautiful blue eyes! 💙
Arlo is discovering that life can be pretty wonderful when you have a warm place to sleep, a cozy couch to curl up on, friends to play with, and people who care about you. ❤️
He came into rescue after spending time living on the streets, so he’s still settling into this whole indoor-living thing. And honestly, he’s doing a pretty great job!
At about 33 lbs, Arlo is the perfect size for just about any adventure. He’s not expected to get any bigger, and we think he’d be a fantastic match for someone looking for a walking buddy, running partner, hiking companion, or just a fun-loving sidekick to bring along for life’s adventures.
A little more about this handsome guy:
🐾 Dog friendly, but not dog dependent! Arlo loves having a buddy to play with and share adventures, but he’d also be perfectly happy being someone’s one-and-only. He’s pretty adaptable when it comes to furry siblings!
💙 Plays hard, loves harder! He enjoys a good play session but is just as happy snuggling up on the couch afterward.
🏡 Potty trained! He must have had some sort of routine before his street-life chapter because he’s already got this part figured out.
🛏️ Kennel friendly. He does well settling into his kennel when it’s time to rest or take a break.
👧 Kid approved so far! He’s been wonderful with the kids he’s met, ages 8 and up.
🐈 Cats? The resident cat has him a little intimidated at the moment, he isn’t sure if he should chase or leave it alone, so we’re still learning about that relationship.
And those eyes! His beautiful light-colored coat and captivating blue eyes are sure to turn some heads.
Arlo is ready for a home where he can be someone’s adventure buddy, playmate, couch companion, and best friend. He’s got so much life ahead of him and is ready to make up for lost time with a family of his own.

Arlo’s adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers his neuter, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care he may have needed while in the rescue’s care.
We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.northernlakesrescue.org
