You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Do you want to meet me? I will be at the Eden Prairie Eco Expo, Eden Prairie Center 8251 Flying Cloud Dr, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 for an Adoption Event on Saturday, April 18th from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm. Please email inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com for questions regarding the dogs. Benjamin button is the perfect little sidekick with just the right mix of independence and affection.  Benjamin button is a Pomeranian mix who has already mastered so many of the important things in life—he’s housebroken, walks beautifully on a leash, and has great manners in the home. He’s a smart boy who understands a variety of commands like “come,” “stay,” “outside,” “go potty,” “leave it,” and even “get back” when the door opens. He’s eager to please (especially if treats are involved!) and is very food motivated, which makes continued training a breeze. Benjamin button is wonderfully well-rounded when it comes to his social life. He gets along great with other dogs, prefers friends his own size, and has done well with cats too. He’s also been around babies and toddlers and handles it all like a champ. While he enjoys the company of other dogs and is learning to join in on zoomies and playtime, he doesn’t require a canine companion—as long as his people are home most of the time, he’ll be perfectly content soaking up their attention. This little guy has a sweet and slightly independent personality. He loves his humans and will happily spend time with you, but he’s not overly needy—he’s the kind of dog who can entertain himself and then come in for love when he’s ready. He absolutely adores squeaky toys and will proudly toss them around, giving them a good shake during playtime. At night, he does well not being in a crate and instead is kept in a separate room and settles in nicely. He can be a bit vocal at first when kenneled, but he does calm down after a short time. He’s also great about letting you know when he needs to go outside, making him an easy and reliable companion in the home. Benjamin button is truly a good boy in all the best ways—smart, adaptable, loving, and just the right amount of fun. He’s the kind of dog who will fit right into your life, bringing loyalty, personality, and just enough playful charm to make every day a little brighter Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. YOU CAN HELP: Not able to foster or adopt right now? Please consider sponsoring an Underdog. Your donation will help us buy dog food and pay for medical costs. Story
About Me: If you’re looking for a tiny shadow with a big heart, I might just be your guy. I’m a 5 lb senior pup who’s mastered the art of companionship—I’ll happily follow you from room to room, curl up at your feet, and keep you company no matter what you’re doing. Quiet, gentle, and incredibly sweet, I’m the kind of dog who just wants to be near my person. I’m not much for toys or wild playtime—I’d much rather soak up your attention or nap beside you. I get along beautifully with other dogs and even cats, though I tend to do my own thing and prefer people over playmates. New situations can make me a little nervous at first, but once I feel safe, my loving personality really shines through. I’m still learning a few things, like perfecting my potty training and getting fully comfortable on a leash, but I’m making great progress every day. I do best with a patient, understanding adopter who will let me move at my own pace and continue building my confidence. I also have a few small medical needs, including a daily supplement, and I’m blind in one eye—but don’t worry, it doesn’t slow me down one bit! My ideal home? Somewhere calm, cozy, and full of love—where I can be your loyal little sidekick and you don’t mind having a constant companion right by your side. If you’re ready for a devoted, snuggly best friend who will love you endlessly… I’m ready to meet you. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.  ##2637710##

Good with dogs,
Story
Be still my beating heart… Dade the Pom is here! This fluffer is a friendly, high-energy pup with a wonderful personality. He’s silly, happy-go-lucky, and full of charm. Honestly, he gives off circus performer vibes, just without the formal training (yet!). He was found as a stray in Texas and is currently growing back some patchy fur due to a lack of consistent grooming, but with a little care, his coat will be back to its full, fabulous fluff in no time. Dade absolutely loves people and gets along great with other dogs, making him an easy addition to just about any home. He’s always ready to be part of the action and will happily greet anyone who walks through the door. Like many Pomeranians, he’s lively and playful, bringing lots of energy and entertainment wherever he goes—but he also kennels well and settles in nicely when it’s time to relax. Dade is currently working on his potty training, and with consistency and routine, he’s sure to keep improving. He will need to be neutered upon arrival, until then he may mark at first. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate little dog with a big personality, Dade is your guy! ---- This pet is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease and is available through our Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) program. Activity must be restricted for several weeks during recovery. RSR will cover the full cost of treatment. RSR will provide heartworm preventatives until the retest is due. The adopter will be responsible for scheduling the retest and obtaining any follow-up prescriptions through their veterinarian. Click Here to learn more about heartworm disease.

Story
Coffee is a little bundle of sweetness who will melt your heart every time you look at her. With her gentle personality and easygoing nature, she’s the kind of companion who quietly brings comfort and joy just by being nearby. She absolutely loves her breakfast and dinner—especially when soft food is on the menu! Coffee recently had a dental cleaning with some teeth removed, and she’s been doing great since, taking it all in stride like the resilient girl she is. Coffee is wonderfully social and not fazed by other dogs at all. She happily toddles around with a quiet confidence, as if to say, “I’m here—go ahead and love me!” She enjoys being held and soaking up affection, but she’s just as content doing her own thing, whether that’s exploring at her own pace or curling up for a cozy nap. She is kennel trained (with a little help getting settled in) and relaxes nicely once inside. Coffee would do well in many homes, but she would be especially perfect for a senior or someone with a calm, peaceful lifestyle. That said, her adaptable and loving nature means she’ll be a wonderful companion for just about anyone lucky enough to welcome her home. All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped. To meet this sweet pup, fill out an application today! https://www.carverscotths.org/dogs

Story
Hi! I’m Lorita, a 3.5-year-old Pomeranian. I’m ready to enjoy the good life! 🎉 First things first: I came with my best friend, Lorella. We are two peas in a pod and would LOVE to be adopted together, but we understand if you can't. We do everything together. Think "doublemint twins". We even eat out of the same bowl, even if there are two. I just met snow for the first time today. It is amazing. Snow is delicious. Snow is for rolling in and face-planting into. If there is snow outside, you will likely find me out there doing snow angels or taste-testing the freshest powder. ❄️ There is video evidence apparently. I’m a happy, friendly little puffball. I might be a tiny bit shy at first, but I get my confidence from Lorella. I'm much more confident when she is by my side. If you’re ready for some Pomeranian shenanigans, Lorella and I might be your girls. Just make sure you like snow… because I’m probably not coming inside until I’ve rolled in it at least seven more times. 😄
