Hello! Carmella became my pet when my ex-girlfriend decided to leave her with me back in 2014 when Carmella was a puppy, given to her by one of her dog grooming clients (my Ex GF had a dog grooming business in FL). Carmella has been with me since that time in 2024, trained as a puppy to be house trained and she knows a few tricks! She is a very lovable dog and great with kids. My recent personal life has changed and I'm frequently travelling outside of the country, and Carmella is often left to be babysat by family. However, family schedules are now tight as well. My daughter would love to take her, but her husband does not want to have a dog at the moment. About 4 years ago, my son brought home a cat and I was nervous about this, and it was a rocky relationship at first, but now Carmella and the cat are friends and play together. So Carmella can co-exist with a cat. Carmella loves to go on walks and play tug of war with rope or old sock. If I wasn't gone so much, I'd keep her.

She likes to take naps, eat, and will beg a bit for people food. You can tell she was loved dearly by someone. She’s adjusting to the cold but will potty outside. She’s discovering the joy of normal dog activities and approaches them with gentle excitement and curiosity. Tindra has a medium energy level and enjoys going for walks, then happily curling up for a nap beside you or squeezing into the tiniest cozy space she can find. She gets along wonderfully with her dog and cat foster siblings and would love a home with playmates — whether human or animal. Tindra especially loves to wrestle, and at about 30 pounds fully grown, she’s a fun but manageable play partner. She doesn’t shed much, though she will need occasional brushing and trimming to manage her undercoat. Location: Sartell, MN Hi! My name is Golden Finch, my foster family calls me Finny. I live with kids, dogs and a cat. I love everyone! I REALLY love my foster brother Cass. He is a husky mix that loves to play. Most days I just follow him or mom around the house. I am shy girl therefore in my forever home it would be best for me to have a confident dog friend to show me the ropes. I have learned so much from the other dogs in the house. Having them around makes new things a little less scary. I have also met Adam the cat. I try to play with him, he typically runs away. My mom says he is just not “dog savy”. I think that means he doesn’t like dogs much. I also LOVE to snuggle. My kids are always “squish kissing”😚 me. I have been working really hard at potty training. Yes, his name is Splinter. Like.. the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' wise sensei and father. Does he not look exactly like the character?!Splinter may be categorized as a senior at 10-ish years old, but he is as young at heart as those wily teenagers! He loves to play tug o' war with toys, going on walks, and constantly rolling over for belly rubs. (He does also enjoy many naps throughout the day - a jack of all trades, really.)He is hilariously vocal and will grumble or bark when he thinks you should be giving him all your attention. Splinter is also an excellent security system, so a home without shared walls (no apartments/townhomes) will be required. This 9-pound little dude currently lives with small dogs his size. He does well coexisting, but will also play if given the chance! His tail goes about a million miles per hour when excited! He is willing to meet a big dog to see if they can be roomies. One who has experience with small dogs is a bonus!Splinter has met a couple of cats briefly and is willing to meet any resident cats to ensure all is well. This guy isn't a big fan of a lot of ruckus (unless he causes it), and he likes to ensure everyone knows when the food is his, not appreciating interference. Therefore, an older teen or a kid-free home would be best for him. Splinter needs a little time to warm up in new situations, however, when comfortable at home he is ready to demand attention from anyone who enters!Splinter knows to do his business outside and welcomes the treat he gets for doing so!
