He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he realizes you’re kind, he warms up quickly and shows his sweet, playful nature. Neko loves toys — squeaky, plush, bouncy, you name it. He’s also famous for his signature happy dance, a full&#226&#128&#145body wiggle he breaks out whenever he sees his favorite humans. Along with his adorable moves, he knows a couple of tricks too: he can sit and shake like a pro. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys calm, easy strolls. He is happy going around the block or even a mile or two if you want. Neko does get a bit worried when his people leave, so you may hear a whine now and then. I’m a gentle guy who loves attention, kisses, and being part of the action. I get along great with dogs, cats, and kids, and I’m always ready to make new friends.  I do especially well with the littles and am very patient with them.   I’m not a big barker, but if another dog starts up, I’ll happily join the chorus. I’m kennel trained, keep my space clean, and I’m working hard on my potty training—it’s coming along nicely when I’m on a good schedule. I am still learning about the leash, so until I figure that out I will need a fenced in yard where I can explore safely and do my business.   My favorite toys are squeaky ones, but don’t worry—I don’t destroy them, I just enjoy the sound. I’m affectionate, even-tempered, and gentle, and I love being talked to. I’m smart enough to know commands like “Kennel,” “Go Potty,” and even “Get Back” when the door is open. I’m the kind of dog who wants to be with people, whether we’re playing, walking, or just hanging out. I’ll do fine on my own if you’re busy, but I’ll be happiest in a home where I get plenty of love and attention. Hello! Carmella became my pet when my ex-girlfriend decided to leave her with me back in 2014 when Carmella was a puppy, given to her by one of her dog grooming clients (my Ex GF had a dog grooming business in FL). Carmella has been with me since that time in 2024, trained as a puppy to be house trained and she knows a few tricks! She is a very lovable dog and great with kids. My recent personal life has changed and I'm frequently travelling outside of the country, and Carmella is often left to be babysat by family. However, family schedules are now tight as well. My daughter would love to take her, but her husband does not want to have a dog at the moment. About 4 years ago, my son brought home a cat and I was nervous about this, and it was a rocky relationship at first, but now Carmella and the cat are friends and play together. So Carmella can co-exist with a cat. Carmella loves to go on walks and play tug of war with rope or old sock. If I wasn't gone so much, I'd keep her.

She’s discovering the joy of normal dog activities and approaches them with gentle excitement and curiosity. Tindra has a medium energy level and enjoys going for walks, then happily curling up for a nap beside you or squeezing into the tiniest cozy space she can find. She gets along wonderfully with her dog and cat foster siblings and would love a home with playmates — whether human or animal. Tindra especially loves to wrestle, and at about 30 pounds fully grown, she’s a fun but manageable play partner. She doesn’t shed much, though she will need occasional brushing and trimming to manage her undercoat. Tindra may be shy with new people at first and might hide, but once she feels safe she becomes very affectionate and “Velcro-like.” She’s currently working on potty training and does well with pee pads. Praise-based training works best for her, as she’s not especially food motivated. With patience and love, Tindra will truly shine. Tindra is fixed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations appropriate for her age.
