I’m a gentle guy who loves attention, kisses, and being part of the action. I get along great with dogs, cats, and kids, and I’m always ready to make new friends.  I do especially well with the littles and am very patient with them.   I’m not a big barker, but if another dog starts up, I’ll happily join the chorus. I’m kennel trained, keep my space clean, and I’m working hard on my potty training—it’s coming along nicely when I’m on a good schedule. I am still learning about the leash, so until I figure that out I will need a fenced in yard where I can explore safely and do my business.   My favorite toys are squeaky ones, but don’t worry—I don’t destroy them, I just enjoy the sound. I’m affectionate, even-tempered, and gentle, and I love being talked to. I’m smart enough to know commands like “Kennel,” “Go Potty,” and even “Get Back” when the door is open. I’m the kind of dog who wants to be with people, whether we’re playing, walking, or just hanging out. I’ll do fine on my own if you’re busy, but I’ll be happiest in a home where I get plenty of love and attention. Dora is a beautiful little soft-blond mix with the sweetest soul and the perfect size for just about any home. She is a total people-lover with a very social personality and adores being with her foster family. Dora happily follows you from room to room, curls up in your lap for naps, and showers her people with sweet dog kisses. Belly rubs are one of her favorite things and she never turns them down. Dora enjoys playing with other small dogs and walks nicely on a leash. At bedtime, she sleeps quietly in her kennel after a few minutes of settling in, though she will protest a bit if left alone in her kennel when her foster family leaves — this girl truly loves being near her people. Dora does not like cats. No cats in her home. She also is not a fan of big dogs. She is working on potty training and still has the occasional accident, but does go potty outside when she follows the lead of her foster family’s dogs and continues to make progress. Hello! Carmella became my pet when my ex-girlfriend decided to leave her with me back in 2014 when Carmella was a puppy, given to her by one of her dog grooming clients (my Ex GF had a dog grooming business in FL). Carmella has been with me since that time in 2024, trained as a puppy to be house trained and she knows a few tricks! She is a very lovable dog and great with kids. My recent personal life has changed and I'm frequently travelling outside of the country, and Carmella is often left to be babysat by family. However, family schedules are now tight as well. My daughter would love to take her, but her husband does not want to have a dog at the moment. About 4 years ago, my son brought home a cat and I was nervous about this, and it was a rocky relationship at first, but now Carmella and the cat are friends and play together. So Carmella can co-exist with a cat. Carmella loves to go on walks and play tug of war with rope or old sock. If I wasn't gone so much, I'd keep her.

Tindra has a medium energy level and enjoys going for walks, then happily curling up for a nap beside you or squeezing into the tiniest cozy space she can find. She gets along wonderfully with her dog and cat foster siblings and would love a home with playmates — whether human or animal. Tindra especially loves to wrestle, and at about 30 pounds fully grown, she’s a fun but manageable play partner. She doesn’t shed much, though she will need occasional brushing and trimming to manage her undercoat. Tindra may be shy with new people at first and might hide, but once she feels safe she becomes very affectionate and “Velcro-like.” She’s currently working on potty training and does well with pee pads. Praise-based training works best for her, as she’s not especially food motivated. With patience and love, Tindra will truly shine. Location: Sartell, MN Hi! My name is Golden Finch, my foster family calls me Finny. I live with kids, dogs and a cat. I love everyone! I REALLY love my foster brother Cass. He is a husky mix that loves to play. Most days I just follow him or mom around the house. I am shy girl therefore in my forever home it would be best for me to have a confident dog friend to show me the ropes. I have learned so much from the other dogs in the house. Having them around makes new things a little less scary. I have also met Adam the cat. I try to play with him, he typically runs away. My mom says he is just not “dog savy”. I think that means he doesn’t like dogs much. I also LOVE to snuggle. My kids are always “squish kissing”😚 me. I have been working really hard at potty training. I am looking for a patient family willing to continue working with me . It is tough in the winter, I do NOT like the cold weather at all so when my mom tells me I have to go potty outside sometimes I disagree. It is a work in progress. Yes, his name is Splinter. Like.. the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' wise sensei and father. Does he not look exactly like the character?!Splinter may be categorized as a senior at 10-ish years old, but he is as young at heart as those wily teenagers! He loves to play tug o' war with toys, going on walks, and constantly rolling over for belly rubs. (He does also enjoy many naps throughout the day - a jack of all trades, really.)He is hilariously vocal and will grumble or bark when he thinks you should be giving him all your attention. Splinter is also an excellent security system, so a home without shared walls (no apartments/townhomes) will be required. This 9-pound little dude currently lives with small dogs his size. He does well coexisting, but will also play if given the chance! His tail goes about a million miles per hour when excited! He is willing to meet a big dog to see if they can be roomies. One who has experience with small dogs is a bonus!Splinter has met a couple of cats briefly and is willing to meet any resident cats to ensure all is well. This guy isn't a big fan of a lot of ruckus (unless he causes it), and he likes to ensure everyone knows when the food is his, not appreciating interference. Therefore, an older teen or a kid-free home would be best for him. Splinter needs a little time to warm up in new situations, however, when comfortable at home he is ready to demand attention from anyone who enters!Splinter knows to do his business outside and welcomes the treat he gets for doing so! He would prefer someone who is home more often, as he loves his humans - seriously, you will never be in the bathroom alone again, whether you want to be or not. If you don't know where Splinter is, he is probably right behind you or curled up in your laundry basket.
