Swifter loves nothing more than lounging outside in the grass, basking in the sunshine, and playing with his furry companions. While he may be a bit timid initially especially around new people, once he warms up, he's all sweetness and love. Swifter's journey began as a stray, but despite his rough start, he was in decent shape and had clearly been taken care of by someone. Unfortunately, no owner came forward to claim him, so he's now looking for a new home here in Minnesota where he can spread his love! In his daily routine, Swifter enjoys his breakfast before heading outside for some fun and games with his foster pals. However, he's not a fan of being kenneled at bedtime—this boy prefers to cuddle up close to his favorite humans instead. One of Swifter's adorable quirks is his habit of jumping up into your arms when you go to pick him up. As mentioned, Swifter can be a bit unsure and shy in new situations, it is important to give him the time and space to feel comfortable. He seems to have a preference for females and can take a bit longer to warm up to some men. If you're in search of a furry friend who's as beautiful and loving as they come, look no further than Swifter. With his playful spirit and affectionate personality, he's sure to bring endless joy and happiness to his forever home. Swifter is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 5/17/2024 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
