Story
Coffee is a little bundle of sweetness who will melt your heart every time you look at her. With her gentle personality and easygoing nature, she’s the kind of companion who quietly brings comfort and joy just by being nearby. She absolutely loves her breakfast and dinner—especially when soft food is on the menu! Coffee recently had a dental cleaning with some teeth removed, and she’s been doing great since, taking it all in stride like the resilient girl she is. Coffee is wonderfully social and not fazed by other dogs at all. She happily toddles around with a quiet confidence, as if to say, “I’m here—go ahead and love me!” She enjoys being held and soaking up affection, but she’s just as content doing her own thing, whether that’s exploring at her own pace or curling up for a cozy nap. She is kennel trained (with a little help getting settled in) and relaxes nicely once inside. Coffee would do well in many homes, but she would be especially perfect for a senior or someone with a calm, peaceful lifestyle. That said, her adaptable and loving nature means she’ll be a wonderful companion for just about anyone lucky enough to welcome her home. All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped. To meet this sweet pup, fill out an application today! https://www.carverscotths.org/dogs

Story
Seeking an Adopter, Foster or Foster-to-Adopt Home Jerry is a tiny dog with a huge mind. At just 8 lbs, he is "delightful" and "sensitive," but he’s also a bit of a puzzle that needs the right person to solve it. Jerry is currently looking for a patient, savvy home that understands the complexity of a smart, anxious dog. The Highlights: - The "Circus" Dog: Jerry is incredibly smart. He knows "Sit," "Spin," and a very impressive "Sit Pretty." He loves to learn and will stay engaged in training for several minutes at a time. - A Lap Dog (On His Terms): Jerry loves to be near his people and will happily sit in your lap! He just needs a "consent-based" relationship where he can ask for pets and take breaks when he feels overstimulated. - Small But Mighty: He is a classic Pomeranian—vigilant, active, and very aware of his surroundings. Jerry’s Unique Needs: Jerry views the world through a lens of "conflict." He wants to be involved, but he gets frustrated or anxious when he’s unsure of what to do. - Tactile Sensitivity: Jerry is very sensitive to touch. He’ll even flinch if a treat crumb lands on his fur! He does best with "consent testing"—petting him for 10–15 seconds, then pausing to see if he asks for more. - Frustration "Chains": When Jerry wants something (like a treat) but doesn't know how to get it, he might spin, bow, or hop on three legs. He needs a calm leader who can help him "reset" and relax. - Safety & Boundaries: Jerry can be reactive to children and some strangers. Because of his history, he needs an adult-only home. - Grooming: As a Pomeranian, his beautiful coat requires brushing and professional grooming every 6–8 weeks to stay mat-free and comfortable. Compatibility: - Dogs: Jerry can live with other dogs, but structured introductions are a must to ensure a good match. - Cats: Unknown. - Children: No (Jerry reacts to children and needs an adult-only environment). Jerry was returned to the rescue after a bite incident in his previous home. However, since being in a structured training environment, he has had zero bites. By using consistent routines and "consent testing," Jerry has shown he can be a safe, successful companion when his boundaries are respected. ---------------------------------- -Jerry's adoption fee is $350 + MN sales tax. - You must fill out an adoption application before you are allowed to meet the animal. Please complete the adoption application located on our website: https://smalldogsminnesota.org/adoption-application/ - Small Dog Rescue of MN does not negotiate the adoption fee on our dogs and we must charge sales tax on all adoption fees in order to comply with Minnesota state law. Please note that SDR is philosophically opposed to the idea of buying and selling animals, and we support any future legislation that would remove sales tax from adoption fees. Until then, however, it must be charged. - Please note that we do not have a shelter, and all dogs are in foster homes. Since we strive to provide the best possible care for our animals, sometimes we cannot answer emails promptly. Please allow 48 hours for us to respond to you. - You must be 18 years of age to make an adoption request. - A healthy pet is a happy pet! Story
Jasper and Ivy were surrendered together and to be adopted together. Meet Jasper — a fun-loving, spirited dog with a playful personality and a big heart. He loves to stay busy, whether that’s playing with toys, going on walks, or just being involved in whatever you’re doing. Jasper brings a lot of energy and personality to the table and keeps things entertaining. He’s a smart dog who will benefit from continued structure and engagement, both mentally and physically. Jasper does best when he has clear expectations and an outlet for his energy, making him a great fit for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. Jasper and Ivy do bark quite a bit when they get excited. Apartments may be tough for them. Jasper needs continued work to not bark at everything he sees. They are doing well with potty training on a schedule. Jasper is an incredibly rewarding companion. He’s full of life, eager to connect, and ready to find someone who will embrace both his playful side and his need for structure. Adoption fee is $350+ tax, please apply at www.campcompanion.org

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Benjamin button is the perfect little sidekick with just the right mix of independence and affection.  Benjamin button is a Pomeranian mix who has already mastered so many of the important things in life—he’s housebroken, walks beautifully on a leash, and has great manners in the home. He’s a smart boy who understands a variety of commands like “come,” “stay,” “outside,” “go potty,” “leave it,” and even “get back” when the door opens. He’s eager to please (especially if treats are involved!) and is very food motivated, which makes continued training a breeze. Benjamin button is wonderfully well-rounded when it comes to his social life. He gets along great with other dogs, prefers friends his own size, and has done well with cats too. He’s also been around babies and toddlers and handles it all like a champ. While he enjoys the company of other dogs and is learning to join in on zoomies and playtime, he doesn’t require a canine companion—as long as his people are home most of the time, he’ll be perfectly content soaking up their attention. This little guy has a sweet and slightly independent personality. He loves his humans and will happily spend time with you, but he’s not overly needy—he’s the kind of dog who can entertain himself and then come in for love when he’s ready. He absolutely adores squeaky toys and will proudly toss them around, giving them a good shake during playtime. At night, he does well not being in a crate and instead is kept in a separate room and settles in nicely. He can be a bit vocal at first when kenneled, but he does calm down after a short time. He’s also great about letting you know when he needs to go outside, making him an easy and reliable companion in the home. Benjamin button is truly a good boy in all the best ways—smart, adaptable, loving, and just the right amount of fun. He’s the kind of dog who will fit right into your life, bringing loyalty, personality, and just enough playful charm to make every day a little brighter Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Oriole is a darling Pomeranian with a soft, beautiful coat and an even softer heart. He is incredibly devoted to his people and loves being close — whether he’s curled up right next to you, tucked into your side, or happily soaking up pets and belly rubs. He also enjoys being picked up and cuddled, making him the perfect little companion for someone who loves a snuggly dog. He does wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys both gentle play and meeting new canine friends. Oriole thrives in a home where he can be part of the pack, though he will chase cats and would do best in a cat-free home. He can be sensitive to loud noises, quick movements, and overwhelming environments, so a quieter home without young children will help him feel safe and secure. Oriole loves spending time outside and really enjoys having a fenced yard where he can run, explore, and show off his adorable morning zoomies. He also enjoys going on walks and is leash trained, though he should always be kept secure since he can slip out of a collar or harness if given the opportunity. He does great with stairs but isn’t one to jump on furniture, preferring instead to stay close by your side. He is crate trained and continues to do well with structure and routine. Oriole is very food motivated, which makes him fun to work with, but he will need a soft diet and soft treats as he only has one tooth remaining. He does not play with toys just yet, but he’s curious and continues to grow more comfortable exploring the world around him. Thunderstorms and loud commotion can be scary for him, so he’ll do best with a patient, understanding adopter who can provide reassurance and a calm environment. Oriole is truly one of the sweetest little dogs you’ll meet — affectionate, gentle, and happiest right by your side. He’s ready to find a loving home where he can feel safe, adored, and part of the family. Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.      *SPECIAL NEEDS: Kensi is deaf and vision impaired, please read entire bio before applying to ensure Kensi is a good match for your home**   Kensi is a fluffy little Pomsky mystery who operates very much like a majestic woodland creature—sweet, curious, and happiest when she has her kingdom (aka your home) all to herself. She may be mostly blind and deaf, but don’t let that fool you. This girl navigates life with the confidence of someone who absolutely knows where the treat jar is at all times. Kensi is a one‑dog show, and she prefers it that way. Other dogs? Hard pass. Cats? Also no. Farm animals? Surprisingly fine. Humans? Yes, please. She greets new people with friendly enthusiasm and will happily accept snacks, pets, and compliments about her fabulous coat. She enjoys wandering her yard like a tiny, fuzzy explorer, sniffing out the secrets of the universe (or at least the squirrels). She’s played with toys, enjoys treats, and trots along nicely on a leash. She’s potty trained, rides well in the car, and has just the right amount of sass to keep life interesting. Kensi is looking for a calm home where she can be the star of the show, the queen of the castle, the solo act in her own personal sitcom. She’s sweet, she’s quirky, she’s independent, and she’s ready to be someone’s loyal little sidekick—no other dogs required, thank you very much. If you’re looking for a unique, lovable companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Kensi is your girl. Many of our dogs are obtained from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends.  In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up.
