Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. McFlurry: The Fluff, The Myth, The Legend Oh hey there. Did someone say “adorable panda bear”? Oh wait—it’s just me, McFlurry, stealing hearts and snacks since... well, basically always. I know, I know—you’re wondering how a literal panda escaped the zoo, learned how to smize like Tyra Banks, and ended up in your adoption feed. Spoiler alert: I’m actually a dog. I KNOW. Try to stay calm. So here’s the scoop. My foster mom decided I needed a little pizzazz—as if my fluffy, doughy physique wasn’t enough—and voilà: pet-safe dye magic. Now I’m rocking the black-and-white look and confusing wildlife experts and toddlers alike. Add some squishy rolls and boopable snoot, and I’m basically a celebrity in disguise. Let’s Talk Name: McFlurry Yes, like the ice cream. Sweet? Duh. A bit thick? Mind your business. Fluffy? I exceed industry standards. I’m on a fitness journey—slow and steady wins the race, right? Sure, I’ve indulged in one too many cookies (or...everything ever), but I’m embracing my glow-up era. And before you ask—yes, those bright blue eyes are real. No, you may not borrow them. They’re my weapon of choice for manipulating humans into giving me treats, belly rubs, or full control of the remote. Personality Breakdown: Vibes: Marshmallow with mild sass. Energy level: Part-time potato, full-time vibe curator. Hobbies: Being carried like royalty, judging you from the couch, avoiding downward stairs like they owe me money. Social skills: I vibe well with other pups, but let’s be honest—I’m the main character. Attitude: Unbothered. Unapologetic. Unleashed. Potty Confessions: The Dirty Truth Let’s just rip off the bandage: I’m stubborn. I pee on my schedule, not yours. Potty training? We’re in negotiations. Belly bands? I wear them like a statement piece. Now, about my tummy: it’s... fragile. Like, emotionally and physically. So yes—I poop. A lot. Stress? Poop. Excitement? Poop. Slight breeze in the air? Poop. It’s called consistency, people. But wait—there’s more. Let’s talk dingleberries. Yes, those awkward, horrifying, and clingy little nuggets of shame. Thanks to my plush backside and luxurious fluff, the ol’ #2 sometimes lingers in... unfortunate ways. You’ll need to do some rear-end maintenance. Trust me, neither of us is thrilled about it—but love means picking up the pieces. Literally. Consider it a bonding experience. The Royal Treatment, Please I came from a breeder situation, so this whole “house pet” gig is new. Couches? Magical. Kind humans? Suspiciously nice. Dental work? Done—I’ve got four teeth on top and somehow even more personality. I don’t do leashes. I don’t do stairs. I do expect a fenced yard and a personal elevator (fine, a human with arms). You carry me—I wave like royalty. Dealbreakers: Apartments. I poop too freely and too often for shared walls. Stairs. Not a fan. Not negotiable. People who aren’t ready to discuss dingleberries like adults. So here’s the deal: I’m dramatic, extra, slightly high-maintenance, and 100% worth it. If you’re into snuggly sassballs with panda cosplay and an honest-to-God poop issue, then congratulations—you’ve found your soul-dog. Good with dogs,
Story
History: Dennis has had two major surgeries in his young life. The first was to address an instability that he had in his neck. The vertebra were unstable causing pain and instability in walking. Surgery was done in March 2025 to stabilize the affect vertebra. He has been doing very well since and we expect him to not have any long term concerns. It is recommendation to not allow any stair or jumping up and down off of furniture. The second surgery was to address his bilateral luxating patellas. This surgery was done in June 2025. Both knees were done at the same time. The surgery was done to keep the patellas in the correct position as he bends his knees. He also has been doing quite well since those surgeries. It is recommended going forward to use a harness and not a collar for him. A Note from the Foster:Dennis a tiny 4 lbs sweet gremlin who will love you with his whole heart! He will also keep you busy, on your toes and provide you with laughter and smiles every day. Dennis is a pretty typical Pomeranian. He has an opinion on everything and he very loudly shares his thoughts. So, shared walls may not be the best for him or the neighbors. He’s a Velcro dog who anticipates where you may be going whenever you get up. Get used to Dennis meeting you in the bathroom. He doesn’t bark. He yacks. Yes, yacks in rapid succession but, always with a smile. Dennis is very trusting so he will simply fall into your arms assured you will catch him. He sleeps on my bed, because he’s not a fan of crates. He’s a good bedmate who will climb up on your chest, fall over with his front legs in the air, so your hands can substitute for a mobile that he can bat around for some minutes, until without warning he gets up and goes to the far corner of the bed and goes to sleep. It’s one of the many Dennis things that makes him the tiny little tyrant you will love. Dennis would do best in a home without young children, because he is so small and somewhat fragile due to his spinal surgery (he was born without a connection between his C1-C2 vertebrae, which was joined in a very complicated surgery). His ideal home would also be with someone who is home most of the time, as Dennis complains loudly whenever I go anywhere without him. He loves to be carried outside in a sling, although you have to be a wee bit careful he won’t jump out in excitement if he starts to yack in excitement when he sees someone he knows or simply something interesting. Potty training is ongoing, and may always be ongoing, because he’s really not interested in learning. Walking in a harness on a leash can also be hit or miss, hence the sling. Dennis is a 4 lbs little guy with a 4 ton personality, who will consider you to be his assistant rather than a Mom or Dad. But I promise you will fall in love with him and all, well at least almost all, of his quirks the first time you pick him up and look at his bright eyes and little smile!

History: Marla is a super beautiful girl who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart with her smile and happy personality. She has her paws crossed to find her forever home soon! Marla was reported to be about 5 years old when she arrived to rescue however upon further examination, our veterinary team believes she is closer to 12 years of age. A Note from the Foster: Marla is a gentle, sweet senior Pomeranian whose favorite place in the whole wide world is right next to her people. She doesn’t just love being around you—she needs to be. If she had a theme song, it would be “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid, her favorite part of the song is:“I wanna be where the people are. I wanna see, wanna see 'em dancin' " At just a glance, you’ll see her soft fur and soulful eyes, but spend a few minutes with her, and you’ll know her true magic—Marla wants nothing more than to be part of your world. Whether you’re hanging out on the couch, working at your desk or going for a drive, she’ll happily be by your side, quietly reminding you how loved you are. Marla is still working on remember to go potty outside but on a schedule is doing great. She is working on her walking distance and right now while on leash sticks to a very small area because the outside world is so big and new for her. Marla sleeps in her crate when she is home alone and at night, but is willing to upgrade her sleeping arrangements for your lap or next to you in bed. Marla is looking for a forever family who will cherish her sweet nature, shower her with affection, and let her dreams come true: to simply be where the people are. Could Marla be the missing piece of your world?

Story
History: Shelby is a beautiful girl who was recently returned to rescue when she was not a match for the felines in the home. She is settling back into rescue and doing well overall- she does great with other dogs! Shelby hopes to find her forever home soon! A Note from the Foster: My name is Shelby, and I am a two-year old, spayed Pomeranian/Shiba Inu mix. I am very spunky and energetic. I love nothing more than chasing tennis balls and burning off energy with high-speed zoomies around the fenced-in yard. While I’m outside, I do my business, but I also like to patrol the perimeter and keep unknown people and dogs away with my effective bark. I am very food motivated, enjoying snacks, bones stuffed with treats, and a frozen peanut butter Kong. Once I have burned off my energy, I enjoy cuddling with people or playing with my inside toys, but sometimes I get so excited that I play bite and need to be redirected with one of my squeaky toys. I’ve never been around children, so I have no idea what they are about, but I do know that I am not fond of cats. I’m still not sure about other dogs since they could get in the way of me getting all of the attention, but maybe I would like a dog friend: I’d have to meet them. I look forward to finding my forever family, so let’s meet and play ball!

Story
History: Jewel is a beautiful girl who needed a second chance at a good life. She quickly wriggled her way into our hearts and is hoping to find a patient home of her own soon! A Note from the Foster: Jewel is a petite little old lady at only 7 lbs. She comes from a commercial breeding background and is a little on the shy side. She is still wary of human touch but loves to be my shadow. She's coming out of her shell more and more and it's been really fun to see. She does great with other dogs and co-exists well with cats. I haven't had her around small children but would assume she would struggle as she doesn't like being pet or picked up so she'd need respectful kids who knew not to try to touch her. I think she would like to have another dog in the house but wouldn't require one. She likes to play with adult dogs and puppies and keeps up pretty well with both for her age! She is very food motivated and loves all snacks. She likes to take her piece of food and go off on her own to sit and enjoy it by holding it between her paws while laying in a perfect "sploot." Because she's still so shy, we stick to doing walks in our fully fenced backyard only. She follows behind me pretty closely the whole time so we just drag a leash that is clipped to her harness. We're still working on potty training and she has some separation anxiety. She does great going potty outside when in a routine and uses potty pads in a playpen while I'm at work. She struggles a bit when she can't stay near you and will bark to let you know you're too far away for her comfort. Because of this, I'd recommend no shared walls. Overall, Jewel is an easy keeper and she really wants to bond, just isn't quite sure how yet so we're going at her pace. If you're looking for a sassy old lady to be your constant companion, she'd love to meet you!
