Story
Meet Rocket: Your New Fluffy Best Friend! 🐾🐶
About Rocket 🌟
It’s my time to find my furever home! 🏡 My name is Rocket, and I am a gorgeous, throwback Pomeranian with a big, magnificent fluffy coat. Because of his stunning fur, we kindly request that Rocket's new family uses a professional groomer who is experienced with Pomeranians—please do not cut his coat down! ✂️✨
Now, onto Rocket’s favorite subject: himself! 👑 Well, not really, but like any proud Pomeranian, he adores attention. Weighing in at 16 pounds, Rocket is a big boy who is completely convinced he is still a tiny 5-pound lap dog. That means he loves nothing more than sprawling out across your lap for belly scratches and a nice massage. 🥰
At three years old, Rocket is still wonderfully playful. 🎾 He would do exceptionally well in a home with a female dog companion and would thrive with daily walks and fun outings. 🐕💕
Background & Personality 📋
Why He’s Looking: Rocket’s former owner sadly passed away. He was originally purchased from a breeder. He came into rescue alongside another Pomeranian named Roman, who has already found his furever home! 🐾
Sleeping Style: Rocket is a very deep sleeper and prefers not to be poked or woken up abruptly. The best way to wake him is gently calling out, "Rocket... time to wake up." 😴 He also loves to sleep half-underneath the bed! 🛏️
House Manners: He is fully potty trained for both outdoor breaks and indoor puppy pads. 🚽
Health & Tummy Care: While his surrender paperwork noted a sensitive tummy, we haven't had any issues at all. To keep his digestion happy, he gets a daily probiotic. 🌿
Rocket’s Daily Routine ⏰
I thrive on a schedule!
8:00 AM: First potty break & breakfast (
1/4 cup Blue Buffalo dry kibble topped with 1 tbsp of The Honest Kitchen). 🥣
12:30 PM: Mid-day potty break. 🌳
1:00 PM: Snack time (I love treats!). 🦴
6:00 PM: Dinner & potty break. 🍽️
9:00 PM: Last call for potty before bed. 🌙
Supplements: To keep him feeling his absolute best, he takes a multivitamin with probiotics, Turkey Tail immune support, and seaweed powder for his pearly whites. ✨
