While he can experience higher anxiety with unfamiliar people at first, he warms up quickly to those in his home and becomes a devoted, lovable cuddle buddy. Meelo thrives in calmer environments where interactions are gentle and predictable; slow, respectful moments help him feel most secure and he loves belly rubs. He is crate trained, house trained, outdoor trained, and pee-pad trained, making him very well-mannered and adaptable. Meelo does well with other dogs and cats and enjoys the comfort of familiar animal companions. At night, he loves being close and makes an excellent bedtime companion.
