Very small so doesn’t need a lot of exercise. Great in the car so he could be a roadtrip buddy! Likes: Snuggling, chilling on the bed, burrowing into blankets, sniffing outside, tagging along wherever you’re going including on a car ride Dislikes: Not familiar with a harness or walking on a leash, does not like going out in the rain. What makes this dog special? Gus Gus has a silly happy personality while being a low key companion. Great personality at the groomer! Friendly to other dogs but just as content being a solo boy. A tiny bit shy around fast moving hands or bodies but very comfortable being a lap dog and getting plenty of gentle scratches. Adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, deworming, and the dog will be current on flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. ##2736836##

Benji was surrendered to DASH by his previous owner.  He is currently working on trusting humans and other dogs. He is a "guy's guy" and prefers both male dogs and men. Since he has these things he is currently working on he will need a patient adopter to continue to work with him. Once he feels comfortable with people he is very loving. Benji is housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He is currently in the DASH Prison program where he is learnig basic commands. In his previous home Benji was fine with cats but did not do well with children. If you are willing to be the one who continues to work on making him the best dog he can be then apply today.  (FTA: Benji is a part of our Foster-to-Adopt program.
