Benji was surrendered to DASH by his previous owner.  He is currently working on trusting humans and other dogs. He is a "guy's guy" and prefers both male dogs and men. Since he has these things he is currently working on he will need a patient adopter to continue to work with him. Once he feels comfortable with people he is very loving. Benji is housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He is currently in the DASH Prison program where he is learnig basic commands. In his previous home Benji was fine with cats but did not do well with children. Lucky is a 2½-year-old Pomsky with plenty of personality packed into his medium frame. He’s playful, smart, and loves being the center of attention. Once he decides you’re his person, he’ll follow you everywhere and soak up every bit of affection you’ll give. He’s fully trained and neutered, but don’t let that fool you—he’s got a streak of independence and will sometimes pretend he doesn’t hear you just to prove a point. Loud noises and thunderstorms make him nervous, so he does best somewhere calm and reassuring when the weather turns. Pippa is a 9-pound Pomeranian, about 3 years old, with the most spectacular fluffy coat you've ever seen. She gets along well with dogs and cats, and may do well with children who understand that she prefers to be admired and played with on her own terms.   Pippa came from a difficult background, so she's still blossoming into her best self. She's made progress and is continuing to grow every day. She's learning to use pee pads indoors and has been doing better outside but has work to do. She will pee inside if you get too close, too fast. She runs around outside like a champ and really enjoys the fresh air.    She cannot yet walk on a leash and is frightened by it, so she will thrive best in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can explore safely and at her own pace. As she settles in and builds trust, her true personality shines through. She is silly, sweet, and deeply affectionate. Once she feels safe, she craves cuddles and love.    Pippa is looking for a patient, compassionate adopter who will celebrate every small milestone with her. We are looking to rehome our Pomsky. Female, 7 years old, not fixed, potty trained. She loves walks, playing fetch (will bring ball back), LOVES car rides. We’ve never crated her so not sure how she does with that. Gets along with children, cats, and other dogs. She’s a happy girl who will meet you at the door when you return home with her tail just a wagging and funny leaps of joy. She will let you know when someone pulls into the drive way. Rehoming due to life changes and to no fault of her.
