Story
Midnight is a 5 year and 1 month old Pomeranian weighing 10 pounds. He came to the shelter as an owner surrender. This pup needs time, and a lot of it. Time to learn to trust, time to adjust, time to heal. A quiet home with an experienced adopter would be ideal. Midnight has slowly started to come out of his shell and show us his personality after being here at the shelter for over 5 weeks. Midnight can be fearful of everything, he'll watch, bright eyed and trembling in fear. You can scoop him up, once you catch him, move to fast and you'll be running around in circles. He'll quietly sit in your lap and he allows you to brush him and did well with the groomer. He has no idea how to walk on a leash and will need housebreaking. He is true to his breed and can be sassy and bark a lot. Good with other dogs and cats. Regular grooming required, weekly brushings in between professional grooming appointments.His adoption fee is $250, this includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. His dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00. Please visit the shelter to meet him, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today! Meet Tinker! 🐾 This precious 3-year-old Pomeranian boy is as sweet as he is handsome! He’s a friendly, loving little companion who adores being with his people — especially if he can curl up in your lap or sleep by your side at night. He is somewhat afraid of strangers so he may hide behind you for safety when he first meets other humans. Tinker gets along great with female dogs and may do well with some male dogs too, given a proper introduction. He’s playful and loves a good game of fetch with his toys, but he’s just as happy to snuggle up for cuddles when playtime is done. He walks nicely on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and is a star for the groomer. Tinker is currently working on his housetraining and making good progress with consistency and routine.
