Meet Wafer! He is a male POMACHON (Pomeranian and Bischon Frise) who is just a puppy (DOB 6/2026) and weighs less than 5 pounds. Wafer was just neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. He is heartworm neg and on prevention including fleas. WAFER is just adorable and all things puppy; curious, funny, energetic and playful. He is trained to use Pee Pads. He was a cast off from an area breeder. Being rescued from a high volume breeder doesn't mean there is anything wrong, The dog could have been the wrong color, size, fur, whatever or now retired from breeding. We are lucky enough to work with a vet in the area who cares enough to scoop up these dogs and get them adopted instead of ........?? Adoption fee is 600 All Ashland County Humane Society animals' adoption fees include: spay/neuter micro-chip de-worming vaccinations, including rabies heartworm prevention If you are interested in adopting this dog, please visit: www.ashlandhumane.org/adoption-application (copy and paste link to address bar) for a printable application. Complete and email back to applications@AshlandHumane.org We are an all volunteer-based organization that does not have a building or a staff, only 8 members with jobs and families, trying to make a difference. If your application gets screened and approved, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and you can decide if this is the right pet for you. Thank you for understanding! Brutus is a 5 year 7 month old Pomeranian/Siberian Husky weighing 30 pounds. He came to us as an owner surrender at no fault of his own. Brutus is a loveable guy who wants to be wherever his person is, he's basically superglue with four legs! Separation anxiety noted by owner and shelter staff-treated with Trazadone as needed. He struggles with being alone and that Husky voice rings out bright & loud, he won't do well in an apartment setting. When his person is near, he settles into a calm & happy boy. Knows commands sit, shake and laydown. Loves car rides. Loves walks and exploring. Treat motivated. Does well with baths and with groomer. His favorite activities include laying next to his person, standing on his person and making sure his person knows they're never alone. His adoption fee is $150, this includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. His dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00 (includes $1.00 service charge).Please visit the shelter to meet him, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today!
