MY RESCUE STORY
Hi, I’m TongTong! I was rescued from a crowded city pound in Gwangju, Korea, where I was sadly placed on the euthanasia list simply due to lack of space. No one knows exactly how I ended up there, but volunteers and staff believe I may have come from a puppy mill. What I do know is that I’m incredibly grateful to have been given a second chance. Despite everything, my heart is full of hope, and I’m ready to leave my past behind and begin a new chapter with a loving forever family. Could that be you?

MY PERSONALITY
I’m a super friendly and affectionate boy who absolutely adores people. I’ll happily trot over for pets and attention, and you can easily scoop me up into your arms—I won’t mind one bit! When I trust you, I’ll even roll over to show you my belly. I’m naturally calm and easygoing, and I prefer to keep the peace. I get along well with other dogs and don’t get caught up in drama—if another pup’s being pushy, I’ll simply walk away. I love water, playing with toys, and curling up in a cozy lap. At heart, I’m a sweet snuggle bug who just wants to share love and joy with my forever family.
MY SOCIAL SKILLS
With People: I’m super loving and friendly, and one of my favorite places to be is right in your lap soaking up all the pets! I enjoy meeting new people and happily welcome their attention. I’m very easygoing when it comes to touch—I don’t mind being picked up and absolutely love snuggling close. Though I haven’t met any kids yet, my calm and gentle nature makes me a great candidate for a home with respectful little ones, especially with slow, thoughtful introductions. And just to win your heart a little more—I’ll gladly roll over and show you my belly for extra love!
With Dogs: I’m polite when meeting new dogs and don’t mind a friendly greeting, but I tend to keep to myself and take in my surroundings first. I’m definitely more of a people-pup—I prefer human companionship over playtime with other dogs. That said, I have a calm and easygoing nature. I don’t resource guard my food or toys, and even if another dog is being a bit rude, I choose to walk away peacefully rather than stir up any drama. Harmony is my style!
With Cats: I haven’t had the chance to meet any cats yet, but given my sweet and gentle nature, I believe I could get along well with them — especially with slow, thoughtful introductions and a bit of patience.
ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES
I have a low to moderate energy level and consider myself more of a cozy couch potato—sometimes I even like to pretend I’m a stuffed toy! I can get warm pretty easily and tend to pant when I’m tired, so long walks aren’t really my thing. I absolutely love playing in the water, so a swim or just hanging out near water would be a dream for me. Short, gentle walks in cooler weather are my favorite way to get outside and explore
TRAINING & HABITS
I know how to potty both indoors and outdoors and usually keep quiet—though I might softly bark when I want your attention. I’m relaxed around people and other dogs, never guarding my toys or food. I’m also great at resting calmly and quietly in my kennel. On walks, I generally follow nicely but sometimes get excited and pull a little when something interesting catches my nose.
MY IDEAL HOME
I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help guide me as I blossom into my true sweet self. I’ll thrive in a home with:

- A family who likes to spend time together and shower me with love.
