On the day they were scheduled for euthanasia, both were rescued together. She was pregnant at the time and later gave birth to three puppies (she is 💗 Pony’s mom). Now, after everything she has survived… it’s finally her turn to be loved. 📍 Jisu is ready for her forever home. She doesn’t need much — just patience, kindness, and a safe heart to land in. 🤍 If you think she may be the missing piece of your family…♡

Story
🏠 Currently in a Vancouver foster home Hi, my name is Dabok. I’m a Pomeranian mix boy, and I’m estimated to be about 2 years old. I weigh 6.4kg (14.1 lb), which makes me a small, fluffy bundle of love. With my soft white fur, gentle eyes, and the way I wag my tail as I walk up to you, people often tell me I melt their hearts the moment they see me. That’s my special charm—and I love sharing it. But my life didn’t always look this warm and gentle. I was rescued from a shelter where the risk of euthanasia was extremely high. The environment was harsh, and illness was everywhere. Each day, I waited—without knowing if tomorrow would come. And then, at the very last moment, a miracle happened. I was rescued and given another chance at life. Because of what I’ve been through, I treasure human touch and love more than anything. Even the smallest bit of attention means the world to me, and I open my heart sincerely to those who show me kindness. I’m an active yet incredibly affectionate boy. I get along wonderfully with women, men, and children, and I socialize very well with other dogs without conflict. When you pet me, I naturally lean into you, because connecting with people is something I truly enjoy. People often say I feel like I was born to be someone’s companion dog—and I think they’re right. I’m also great on walks! I don’t pull on the leash and walk calmly by your side. I don’t overreact to strangers or other dogs, so our walks together will be peaceful and relaxing. I do well in the car, I’m crate trained, and I’m already trained for outdoor potty habits. That said, when I move into a brand-new environment, I may have a few potty accidents at first. But I already understand the concept, and with love, patience, and a consistent routine, I’ll quickly adjust again. Your understanding and gentle guidance will give me a sense of safety and help me build deep trust with you. My ideal forever family is someone who can embrace my past, see mistakes as part of growing together, and wants to share everyday joys with a loyal companion. If I meet that family, I promise to give back with unwavering trust, a warm presence always by your side, and endless love. I once stood at the door of euthanasia. Now, I stand here—ready to learn love, and ready to give it back. I’m Dabok, and I’m ready to become someone’s forever family.

Story
QUICK FACTS  Name: Podol Age: Around 3 years old (Estimated to be born in 2023)  Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Pomspitz Color: White Weight: 5kg / 11lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I was found wandering the streets on my own, unsure of how I got there, and likely left behind to fend for myself. Thankfully, kind rescuers found me just in time and brought me to safety. Now that I’m safe and cared for, I’m ready to leave my past behind and start a bright new chapter with my forever family.    MY HEALTH  • Neutered & healthy with no known health issues • All vaccinations up-to-date    MY PERSONALITY  I’m a super sweet and gentle boy with soulful eyes that show just how much love I have to give. I may be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take long for my adorable personality to shine through. I truly crave human companionship and absolutely love receiving affection, cuddles, and gentle attention from my people.    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I can be a little shy at first, but I don’t take long to open up. It’s clear I’ve had a home before, and I’m confident I’ll do really well in a loving household. I love approaching people and sitting close so I can soak up pets and attention. I can be a bit sensitive if hands suddenly touch my face—especially from strangers—so I’ll need a little time to feel comfortable with head pats. Other than that, I’m a gentle, affectionate boy who enjoys being loved and receiving gentle pets from everyone I meet. · With Dogs: I’m friendly with my dog friends and love making new ones! I usually get along best with dogs my size or bigger. Super high-energy dogs can be a bit overwhelming for me, so I’ll do best with friends who match my playful pace. I can get a little jealous when other dogs get lots of attention, so I’d thrive as the one and only pup, soaking up all the love from my forever family. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is currently unknown, but a cat test can be arranged upon request to help ensure the best fit.    ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have a medium energy level—I enjoy spending time outdoors exploring and playing, and afterwards I’m happy to snuggle up indoors for some cozy relaxation.    TRAINING & HABITS  I’m still learning my leash manners and can pull sometimes, but I’m small and easy to redirect. I walk best in quieter areas and don’t guard my food from people, though I may be a bit sensitive around other dogs—just my way of advocating for my space. I happily share treats and have no separation anxiety yet, though I may become very attached to my new family and will benefit from gentle, ongoing training. I’m generally quiet, but may give a small bark out of excitement, then quickly settle. I potty both indoors (pee pads) and outdoors, rest calmly in my kennel, and while I may mark in new environments, I usually settle quickly.    MY IDEAL HOME  I’m looking for a patient and committed family who will cherish me and accept me as their forever family member:  • A family prepared for puppy training and ongoing guidance • A calm, structured environment with clear routines • Adopters who enjoy an affectionate, people-oriented companion • Ideally the only dog in the household    SPECIAL NOTES  I may have had a rough start in life, and sometimes I get a little nervous when people hold small objects like phones or cups. But I don’t let my past hold me back! I’m a bright, cheerful boy with a big heart who loves following you around and soaking up treats and attention. I’m a quick learner, eager to please, and ready to shine in a loving home that will help me feel safe and loved every single day.   Podol's Youtube Playlist    Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org  For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2642630##

QUICK FACTS Name: Chester Age: Estimated to be 5-6 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Pomeranian, spitz mix Color: Cream, Beige Weight: 5.38kg / 12lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city pound after being placed on the euthanasia list—not because of anything I did, but simply because there were too many dogs and not enough space or resources to care for us all. Despite that frightening start, I’ve held onto my sweet, gentle spirit. Now I’m just hoping for a family who will give me the love, safety, and second chance I’ve been waiting for.   MY HEALTH Neutered & Currently no known health issues All vaccinations up-to-date Received patellar luxation surgery on both back legs in June 2025.   MY PERSONALITY I’m incredibly cute—people say I look just like a little doll in real life. I’m a calm, gentle soul whose favorite pastime is finding the perfect cozy spot to curl up and soak in some sunshine. What can I say? I’m a bit of a couch potato and definitely an introvert at heart. I’m a super quiet, sweet boy who loves a peaceful, comfy life.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m very friendly with people, and nothing makes me happier than soaking up pets and affection while lounging in my favorite resting spot. I’m perfectly fine being picked up too—I love the extra closeness! · With Dogs: I’m a bit more indifferent with dog friends. I politely greet new dogs, but after that I prefer to do my own thing and cozy up in my favorite spot. High-energy or larger dogs can feel a little overwhelming for me, so I’m happiest around calmer companions. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a low, calm energy level—I’m a true couch potato who loves snuggling in my bed all day. Volunteers and staff quickly learned that I’m not shy or scared; I just genuinely enjoy my cozy rest time. At first, I need a little convincing to start my walk (sometimes they pick me up and carry me outside!), but once I’m out in the fresh air, I happily trot along and enjoy a gentle stroll.   TRAINING & HABITS I’ll need a bit more leash training and help building confidence during my walks. When I get scared, I sometimes freeze or lie flat on the ground. I don’t guard my food against people or other dogs, and I’m a very quiet boy who rarely ever barks. I rest calmly in my kennel and potty both indoors (using a pee pad) and outdoors. I may do a little marking at first in a brand-new environment, but that usually improves as I settle in.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a safe, structured, and calm environment. A family that enjoys spending quality time together indoors & outdoors. A family that can shower me with love and attention. A family that understands that I will need more guidance with leash walking. Ideally the only dog in the household, or with another calm and low energy dog sibling that can match my energy level.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a super easygoing and very quiet boy, and I’ll be a calm, gentle addition to any family. My favorite activities are doing little sniff inspections and curling up in my favorite resting spot. I don’t have a big appetite, and overall I’m low-maintenance and peaceful. I’m considered a level 2 rescue dog, so I’ll need at least several days to a week to settle into a new environment, and I must be double-leashed outside for my safety. I thrive in calm, predictable homes because loud noises and energetic dogs can overwhelm me. I’m still building my confidence on walks and sometimes freeze when I get scared, so I’ll need a patient family who can guide me with reassurance. I may mark a bit while adjusting, but with consistency, I learn quickly. With the right home, I know I’ll blossom into the sweetest, most loyal companion.   Chester's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2589534##

I was still just a baby back then, too young to understand what was happening. Thanks to kind rescuers, I was given a second chance at life. Now safe, loved, and growing stronger every day, I’m ready to leave my past behind and find my forever family who will cherish me unconditionally.    MY HEALTH  • All vaccinations up-to-date • Neutered & healthy with no known health issues    MY PERSONALITY  I got my name because I look just like a little raccoon! My beige fur with black and brown accents on my face makes me extra adorable—like a real-life raccoon puppy. I’m a young pup learning all about the world, and just like any puppy, I’m full of curiosity, playful energy, and joy. I love playing with my dog friends and toys, and I absolutely adore people too!    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: Stranger danger? I’ve never heard of it! I absolutely love meeting new people and greet everyone with a happy heart and a wagging spirit. Even my time at the city pound couldn’t dim my sparkle—I’m still full of love and positivity! I enjoy making new friends and get along best with dogs my size and smaller. Whether it’s romping around or just hanging out together, I’m always happy to share fun moments with my furry pals. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.    ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have a moderate to high energy level—just like a typical puppy! I love running around, exploring, and burning off my puppy energy before happily settling down and relaxing.    TRAINING & HABITS  I’m still learning my leash manners, but I’m getting better every day! I don’t guard my food around people or other dogs, and I’m generally a quiet pup—though I may give a little bark when I want attention. Even though I’m young, I know how to rest calmly in my kennel, and I’m doing great with potty training, using both indoor pee pads and outdoor spaces.    MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • I’m still a young pup, so I’ll need a little guidance and patience as I continue learning my basic manners. With love, consistency, and encouragement, I’m excited to grow into a well-behaved, charming little gentleman!    SPECIAL NOTES  I promise you’ll fall in love with me the moment we meet! Photos and videos just don’t capture how adorable I really am. I’m a super sweet, happy-go-lucky pup who’s still learning all about the world. My raccoon-like face might make me look a little fierce at first, but once you get to know me, you’ll see I’m a total goofball full of love and personality!   Raccoon's Youtube Playlist    Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org  For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2641394##

Story
Bori is a mature, gentle girl who spent a long time in a shelter before being rescued. She is the kind of dog whose presence is so quiet that you might not even notice she’s there— soft, calm, and unobtrusive. She rarely barks and enjoys simply staying close to her person. From the very first moment you meet her, she’s the kind of dog who makes you think, “I just want to hold her.” Bori’s personality is pure gentleness. She is calm, well-mannered, and never disruptive to the atmosphere of a home. She stays quietly by your side, which somehow makes you care for her even more, with a tender feeling in your heart. One important note: Bori tends to chase cats, so a home without cats would be best for her. In a new environment, she may have a few potty accidents at first due to nervousness. With a little time and patience, she will adjust and gradually settle in. Bori doesn’t ask for much. A quiet space, a patient person, and a family willing to spend calm, unhurried time together is all she needs. She isn’t overly affectionate or demanding, but just having her nearby is comforting in itself. That’s the kind of dog Bori is. She is no longer looking to be alone— she is waiting for a family who will stay quietly by her side, just as she will for them. 🐾🤍
