Story
At 5–6 years old and just 16 pounds, Ellana is a Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix with a big personality in a tiny, fluffy body. A survivor of a house fire/hoarding situation and once on the euthanasia list, she’s been through more than most—but she’s come out the other side with her spark intact… and a healthy sense of knowing what she likes. Ellana is “perfectly imperfect.” With her adorable waddle, signature snaggle tooth, and cloud-soft coat, she turns heads everywhere she goes. She also has a small neurological mouth “tick” (like a fish out of water), which doesn’t bother her at all—it’s just part of her charm. She enjoys the company of other dogs and cats, but prefers a calm, orderly environment where she can play “hall monitor” and keep things from getting too rowdy. Ellana is looking for a quiet, adult-only home where she can feel safe and understood. She bonds deeply, but at her own pace—once you’re in her circle, you’re truly her person. She appreciates clear boundaries, doesn’t love being startled or picked up unexpectedly, and may give a little grumble to share her opinion. Don’t let her mild arthritis fool you—this girl still loves her walks and will happily dance at the sight of a leash.**she will easily take pain meds to help ease the pain, and they are given as needed** She enjoys affection in short bursts and will nudge you when she’s ready for love. She’s also food-motivated and knows “sit,” “lay down,” and “wait.” Ellana can be a bit of a “fear reactor” if rushed and has nipped when startled, so she needs an adopter committed to going slow and respecting her cues. With patience, she quickly relaxes and shows her sweet, loyal side. She isn’t difficult—she’s discerning. A little sass, a lot of heart, and so much love to give. Could you be her person? 🐾💖

QUICK FACTS Name: Roana Age: Around 2 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Pomeranian Spitz mix Color: White, Brown Weight: 6kg / 13lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I came from a very difficult past where I wasn’t given the care I needed. When I was rescued, I was dealing with severe skin issues and was close to giving birth. Because of my condition, I had to be isolated for treatment, but I received lots of care, medical support, and love during that time. Thankfully, I’ve made a full recovery—my skin is now healthy, and I safely gave birth to my puppies. I’ve been such a devoted mom, and now almost all of my puppies have found their forever homes, with just one still waiting. Now it’s finally my turn. I’m healthy, strong, and ready to start my own new chapter with a loving family who will care for me the way I’ve always deserved.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a shy girl, but despite everything I’ve been through, I’m still very trusting of people. During my transport, I did so well and really enjoyed receiving pets and affection from the person driving me. When I arrived at the care facility, I quickly showed my happy side—running around the yard and enjoying myself. I can be a bit timid in new environments at first, but once I warm up, my sweet, affectionate, and playful personality really shines through. I’m improving every day and receiving lots of socialization, helping me grow into a more confident and happy girl.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy at first, but I’m gentle and curious—I’ll softly take treats from your hand as I get to know you. It doesn’t take me long to warm up, and once I do, my sweet and affectionate side really starts to show. Even in new environments, like during my photoshoot, I did very well meeting new people and handling everything calmly. I have a very gentle nature and am comfortable being picked up, making me an easy and loving companion. · With Dogs: I like to greet new dog friends, but I prefer to take things slow and don’t jump straight into play. I enjoy observing my surroundings first and getting comfortable at my own pace. I’m very gentle with other dogs and tend to avoid conflicts, making me a calm and easygoing companion. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level—I enjoy getting outside to explore and enjoy some fresh air, and once I’ve had my fill of adventure, I’m more than happy to settle down and relax. I have a well-balanced mix of playful energy and calm, easygoing downtime.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m working on my leash walking skills every day and making steady progress. I have great manners around food and don’t guard it from people or other dogs. I’m a quiet girl who rarely barks, and I settle calmly in my kennel when it’s time to rest. I’m also doing well with my potty routine—I can use both indoor pee pads and go outside. Overall, I’m a low-maintenance, easygoing companion who fits nicely into a calm home.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding of my past and willing to be patient while I come out of my shell   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a gentle, low-maintenance girl with a calm and easygoing nature. I may be a little shy in new environments at first, but I’m a resilient pup who keeps a positive spirit and continues to grow more confident each day. I have lovely manners—I’m quiet, don’t guard my food, settle nicely in my kennel, and adapt well to both indoor and outdoor potty routines. I’m also steadily improving my leash skills and respond well to guidance. With the right care, patience, and a loving environment, I have so much potential to blossom into a confident, well-mannered, and deeply affectionate girl.   ROANA'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2708512##

QUICK FACTS Name: Goldie Age: 1 year old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Pomeranian Spitz mix Color: White, Brown Weight: 7kg / 15.4lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from an overcrowded city pound, where I had been placed on the euthanasia list simply because there wasn’t enough space. It was a very uncertain and difficult time, but thankfully, I was saved just in time and given a second chance at life. Now I’m safe, cared for, and leaving that past behind me. I’m ready to start a new chapter with a forever family who will give me the love, security, and happiness I’ve always deserved.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m super cute and adorable—honestly, pictures and videos don’t do me justice! I give off major mini golden retriever vibes, especially with my soft look and those super expressive eyebrows that make all my emotions easy to read. I love playing with my toys and exploring the world around me—I’m a curious, happy pup who’s always interested in what you’re doing. Since I’m still young (around 1 year old), I have a good amount of energy and love to stay active, but I’m also able to settle down and listen well when guided. I prefer dogs that are a similar size to me, where I feel more comfortable and can interact at an easy, balanced pace. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. Since I’m still a young dog (around 1 year old), I can get playful zoomies and love to run around at times—but I settle down quickly and am easy to manage. I have a nice balance of fun, playful energy and calm, relaxed moments.   TRAINING & HABITS I can pull on leash at times, but overall I follow my handler’s lead nicely and am continuing to improve with guidance. I may bark occasionally to get attention, but I settle down quickly once I’m acknowledged. I have great manners around food and don’t guard it from people or other dogs. I rest calmly in my kennel and prefer going potty outdoors. With consistency and routine, I’ll continue to grow into a well-mannered and easygoing companion.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a sweet, people-loving pup with a playful yet manageable energy level. I’m still young, so I enjoy bursts of fun and zoomies, but I settle down quickly and respond well to guidance. I form bonds easily and thrive on affection, making me a very loving and engaging companion. I would do best in a home that can give me both playtime and gentle guidance as I continue to grow. With the right balance of love, routine, and engagement, I’ll blossom into a loyal, well-mannered, and joyful young lady.   GOLDIE'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2708511##

QUICK FACTS Name: Bibigo Age: 1 year old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Pomeranian spitz mix Color: Brown, White Weight: 6kg / 13lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a crowded city pound where I was placed on the euthanasia list due to lack of space. It was a very uncertain time, but thankfully, I was rescued just in time and given a second chance at life. Now I’m safe, cared for, and ready to leave that past behind me. I’m looking forward to finding my forever family—one that will give me the love, security, and happy life I’ve always deserved.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a super adorable and smart boy! Volunteers and staff notice right away how intelligent I am—I already know commands like sit, wait, and even how to give paw. I can focus well and really enjoy learning, especially when I get to connect with my person. I truly love people and crave affection. I tend to bond deeply with my main caregiver—I’m a bit of a “one-person dog,” and once I choose you, I’m all in. With my forever family, I’ll be incredibly loyal, loving, and devoted—a true companion for life.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy at first, but I’ll happily take treats from your hand and warm up quickly. I know I’m small and cute—people often want to reach out and grab me right away—but I feel much more comfortable when I’m given a moment to approach at my own pace (which is totally fair!). Once I feel safe, my sweet and social side really comes out. During my profile photoshoot, I did amazing—I followed volunteers and staff around for attention and treats, and even accepted pets from people I had just met. I’m also comfortable being picked up once I trust you, making me a loving and easy companion. · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dog friends, but I like to take things slow and don’t jump straight into play. I prefer calm, well-mannered dogs and feel most comfortable with gentle interactions. Very high-energy or pushy dogs can overwhelm me, so I do best with respectful companions who match my pace. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level—I enjoy spending time outdoors exploring and getting some fresh air, but I’m just as happy to come inside and snuggle up afterward. I have a lovely balance of playful energy and calm, cozy companionship.   TRAINING & HABITS I can pull on leash at times, but overall I follow my handler’s lead nicely and am continuing to improve with guidance. I have good manners around people and don’t guard my food, though I can be a bit sensitive if other dogs are nearby during mealtimes. I may bark occasionally when I’m looking for attention, but I settle down quickly afterward. I rest calmly in my kennel and prefer going potty outdoors. I’m also quite athletic—despite my small size, I can jump surprisingly high (over 1m!), so a secure environment is important. On the bright side, this also means I could really excel in activities like agility training! I’m very focused during training sessions and love learning. With the right support, structure, and a committed family, I know I’ll grow into a confident, well-mannered, and impressive young gentleman.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a smart, athletic, and highly trainable boy who thrives with structure and engagement. I have great focus during training and genuinely love to learn, especially when I’m guided with consistency and positive reinforcement. I’d do especially well in a home that can offer mental stimulation—activities like agility or advanced training would be a perfect fit for me. At the same time, I have a soft, affectionate side—I’m more than happy to be your lap cuddle buddy. At the end of the day, what I want most is to be loved and stay close by your side.   BIBIGO'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2708509##

Story
Bongbong | 4 Years Old | Neutered Male Pomeranian | Ivory | 3.2 kg | 25 cm   Flight Info Bongbong will be arriving with an in-cabin flight volunteer. Due to current flight availability, we are prioritizing applications from adopters who can pick up in Toronto or Calgary. Bongbong was reported as a stray and entered a municipal shelter, where he was later rescued in January 2026. Now safe and waiting, he’s ready to find a loving home of his own   Personality & People Bongbong can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a bit of patience, he warms up quickly. Once he feels comfortable, he becomes very affectionate and enjoys being touched and cuddled. He can be picked up easily and will even show his belly to those he trusts.   He is good with children under 13 and thrives on human companionship — he’s truly a people-oriented little dog   With Other Dogs Bongbong is not particularly interested in other dogs and prefers focusing on his humans. He may bark at smaller or more timid dogs to act “tough,” but he does not show aggressive behaviors such as biting. Around larger or more confident dogs, he tends to be submissive and keeps his distance.   With Cats He has not been tested with cats yet, but testing can be arranged if needed.   Energy Level He has a moderate energy level — he enjoys outdoor activities and walks, but settles down nicely afterward. He tends to be more playful and active when people are around.   Walks & Training Bongbong walks well on leash and enjoys his outings!   He is currently trained to use pee pads indoors and also goes potty outside.   Additional Notes • No food guarding toward people or dogs, though he is food-motivated • No separation anxiety observed • Calm and quiet in a crate during transport • May bark when excited to see people (typical Pomeranian trait), and could develop some demand barking in a home environment   Bongbong would do best in a home that can give him the love and attention he seeks, while continuing to provide gentle structure and guidance. He’s a sweet, affectionate companion who will truly shine once settled into his forever home   Apply to adopt or foster: https://adoptmekr.org  Pleae also visit our Facebook page or Instagram! ##2707773##

***REMINDER:  Please read the bio requirements and only fill in the application if you can meet ALL requirements. Due to the number of applications being received for each dog, we are only able to contact the applicants who have met ALL the listed Requirements*** Name/Tag#: Dolly 4463 Age: 6 yrs old Sex/Altered: Female/Spayed Weight: 16lb Breed: Pomeranian Foster Home Location:  PENETANGUISHENE, ON Adoption Fee:  $700.00 Temperament: Sweet, playful Activity/Energy Level: Low Up to date on Shots: Yes Housebroken: Working on it Crate Trained: Sleeps in a crate at night Ok with Dogs: Yes Ok with Cats: Unknown but probably fine Ok with Kids: Yes, quiet, respectful kids over 6 years Origin: Mass breeding facility Requirements: Securely fenced yard, someone home most of the time, a companion dog in the home, mill dog experience an asset, no kids under 6   And now, a few words from me: Ahhhh, so far retirement suits me well. I am having no trouble at all adapting to the easy life. I eat. I sleep, play with toys then I eat and I sleep some more. I'm not too barky, but I must confess, I haven't shown my full personality yet. When I do, you will see me dance and prance and play. I could really use a fur companion in the house; a nice doggy who can show me what to do ‘cause I’m just a little sponge soaking it all in. I'd make a great companion for somebody who works from home or who is retired. I love hanging around my people, and I'm still working on learning to do my business outside so I need encouragement with that. No need to worry about too many future dental expenses for me. I only have 6 teeth! My foster mama is really sweet and she's soaks my food in water overnight so I can still eat kibble.   And now, a few words from my foster mom:   Dolly is a very sweet, loving ball of poof. She likes to be around people and she’ll follow you everywhere you go. I think Dolly is an indoor dog. She doesn’t really like going outside. We’ve tried walking her on a leash, and she just sat there. She will need some time and patience to work on this. Dolly is very much influenced by the dogs that are around her, so she’s going to need a stable companion dog in her forever home to show her how to do things the right way. Dolly’s beautiful mane will require regular upkeep and daily brushing, which she tolerates very well. She also needs a fenced area to learn to do her potty business, especially as she is adverse so far to walking on a leash. She inconsistently uses pee pads as well. Dolly is cute, sweet, and a little stubborn. She’s really just starting to learn how to have fun. She’s going to make a great addition to someone’s home. Questions?
