Story
Meet Bam-i   Your fluffy little shadow with a big personality!   Name: Bam-i Age: 5 years Weight: 4.3 kg (9.5 lbs) Height: 32 cm (shoulder height) Breed: Pomeranian Spayed Female Color: Brown     Rescue Story   Bam-i was rescued from a municipal shelter just before euthanasia. Now she’s ready to leave her past behind and find the loving family she deserves.   ‍‍‍ Loves People   If you’re looking for a true companion, Bam-i is your girl!   She absolutely adores people and happily greets both familiar faces and strangers. She loves rubbing against people for attention, enjoys being picked up with an arm under her belly, and once she trusts you, she’ll even roll over to show you her tummy. Belly rubs are one of her favorite things!   Dog Social Skills   Bam-i can live around other dogs, but she would much rather have people all to herself.   She tends to get annoyed by dogs that invade her personal space and often warns them first by growling or barking. While she has never been observed getting into an actual fight, she could react if another dog challenges her. She generally does well with calm dogs of similar or smaller size, and with larger dogs that simply ignore her, but she isn’t particularly fond of large or overly playful dogs.   She may also growl or bark at other dogs when she’s being held by her person, so adopters should be mindful of this behavior.   She would likely be happiest as the only dog in the home, or with a calm, respectful canine companion.   Cats   Her behavior around cats is currently unknown, but a cat test can be arranged upon request.   Energy Level   Bam-i has a moderate energy level. She enjoys walks and outdoor adventures, then happily relaxes and naps once she’s back home.   Walking   She’s an experienced walker who follows her handler nicely without pulling on the leash. Rather than stopping to sniff everything, she’s more of a “let’s keep going!” kind of girl. ‍   More About Bam-i   No food guarding with people or other dogs.   She shares toys well, although she may engage in a little posturing if another dog is possessive of toys.   She can be vocal when she wants something or feels frustrated, using barking to express herself.   She may have some separation anxiety, although this has not been confirmed. As with many rescue dogs adjusting to a new home and a long international journey, adopters should be prepared for the possibility and help her settle in with patience and routine.   She may whine or bark briefly when first placed in a crate, but she settles down after a short time.   She is currently accustomed to doing her business outdoors.     Bam-i is a sweet, affectionate little Pomeranian who wants nothing more than to be close to her people. She’ll thrive in a home that understands her preference for human companionship over canine socializing and will reward her family with endless love, cuddles, and adorable smiles.   Could Bam-i be your perfect little companion? Apply today!   Expected to arrive in Toronto in mid-August. We are currently accepting applications only from adopters who can pick her up at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). Story
Jag is an 8 year old, 15 pound, spayed, house and crate trained, female Pomeranian.  Her coat is cloud-soft but has shown no tendencies to mat so she always looks beautiful. Jag would do best in a quiet household with a person home most of the time. Upon arrival, she barked until she became accustomed to typical sounds, therefore, a detached home would be best.   So far, Jag has shown no concern about thunder storms.   She is well-behaved in the home and not destructive although she will shred tissues if she finds one. She is low-energy, liking outside but mainly sniffing the grass rather than walking very far. She's generally fine with passing cars and people, barking at dogs and not eager to befriend any.  She has also never lived with another dog or cat. Jag loves to cuddle. She's happiest when sitting with her people on the couch with hands stroking her.  I think a home with only adults where her routines are calm and predictable would bring out her sweet personality. Please complete our Adoption Application if you think you would be a great match for Jag:  https://www.speakingofdogs.com/adoption/adoption-process/. Due to time constraints, we cannot respond to every email asking for more information on a dog. Teens are Ok. Origin: Mass breeding facility                                                                                         Ideal Home:A securely fenced yard, a calm and quiet home, someone home for much of the day, a confident companion dog, and an adopter with experience helping shy or fearful dogs. Because Dolly feels most comfortable in a peaceful environment, she is best suited to a home with children 12 years and older.  And now, a few words from me... Hi, I'm Dolly! I'm a six-year-old Pomeranian with a big heart wrapped up in a tiny, fluffy package. My foster mom says I'm lively, curious, and full of personality. I may be little, but I bring lots of joy wherever I go! I love being brushed, I'm a perfect little lady at the groomer, and my beautiful coat is silky soft. The best part? My fur doesn't cling to your clothes or furniture—it gathers into little tumbleweeds that are easy to clean up. I absolutely love treats and I'm pretty sure I can tell time. If dinner is running late, I'll happily remind you with my adorable little dance and funny chuffy noises! More than anything, though, I'm looking for my person—a best friend to share quiet mornings, walks, cuddles, and everyday life with. Could that be you? A few words from my foster mom... Meet Dolly—a little dog with a heart that's ready to belong. After spending the first six years of her life as a breeding dog, Dolly is embracing everything life has to offer. She loves backyard zoomies, daily walks, meeting other friendly dogs, and being close to her favourite people. Dolly is affectionate, funny, and incredibly loyal. She prefers a calm, quieter home and happily retreats to her crate when she wants a little downtime—it's her safe place. She is house-trained and thrives on a consistent daily routine. Dolly has settled beautifully into foster care and will be happiest in a home where she has plenty of companionship and someone is home for a good part of the day. She absolutely loves her walks, trotting happily ahead before stopping to make sure you're coming too. A calm, confident canine companion would help Dolly continue building her confidence and show her just how wonderful life can be. If you're looking for a devoted little shadow who will make you smile every day, greet you with excitement, and love you with her whole heart, Dolly may be the one you've been waiting for. Sometimes the most wonderful dogs are the ones quietly waiting for someone to notice them. We know Dolly's perfect family is out there—and we can't wait for them to find her. ❤️ Questions? Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Dodo Age: 4 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Pomeranian Jindo mix Color: Brown Weight: 5kg / 11lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from the euthanasia list at a crowded city pound, where my future became uncertain simply because there was no more space left for dogs like me. Through no fault of my own, my time was running out. Thankfully, kind rescuers stepped in just in time and gave me a second chance at life. Now, I’m finally safe and hoping to find a loving forever family where I can truly belong.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I can be shy in the beginning, but I promise I’m worth the wait. Beneath my timid side is a super cute, loving, and gentle boy who just needs a little patience and understanding to fully come out of his shell. I would do best with a family that understands rescue dogs and is willing to let me build trust at my own pace. I rely a lot on my dog friends for emotional support, and having calm, supportive companions around me helps me open up more quickly and feel safe. Even with my shy moments, I’m generally a bright, positive boy who wants to connect and experience the world with confidence and love.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be shy at first, but I’ll gently take treats from your hands and slowly accept soft pets as I get comfortable. I also allow myself to be picked up and handled gently. Even though I may seem timid in the beginning, I’m a very gentle and sweet boy at heart, and with patience and kindness, I truly do warm up. In a home environment where I can feel safe and settled, I’m confident I’ll bond with my new family relatively quickly and show my loving personality more and more each day. · With Dogs: I’m super friendly with my dog friends and love greeting new dogs and playing with them. I tend to get along best with dogs of a similar size, where I feel the most comfortable and confident. I’m also very much a peacekeeper and prefer to avoid conflict, even if another dog is being pushy or rude. Rather than escalating situations, I usually choose to stay calm and move away. I also rely a lot on my dog friends for emotional support, and having calm, friendly companions around me helps me feel more secure and confident. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s going for walks or exploring, but once I’ve had my activity, I’m more than happy to come inside, curl up, and enjoy a cozy nap or snuggle session.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m still improving my leash skills and building confidence every day. Overall, I walk well and follow my handler’s lead nicely, especially once I feel comfortable. I do best in quieter areas, as sudden loud noises can still startle me sometimes. With patience and continued positive experiences, I’m continuing to grow more confident. I have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals from people or other dogs. I also know how to rest calmly in my kennel and settle well when it’s time to relax. I’m comfortable using both pee pads indoors and going potty outside, making me adaptable to different routines and environments.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A home with another dog sibling – not an absolute requirement   SPECIAL NOTES Volunteers and staff compliment me every day on how sweet and adorable I am. Even though I may seem shy at first, I actually adjust and adapt quite quickly once I start feeling safe and comfortable. My shyness mostly comes from meeting new people in the beginning, but I’m naturally curious and enjoy slowly approaching to get to know you. I especially love taking treats gently from people’s hands, which helps me build trust and confidence quickly.   DODO'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2736193##

Story
Meet Possie (aka Ozzie!) 🐾 A fluffy goofball with a big heart and main-character energy. This 12.5 lb Pomeranian (approx. 6–8 yrs) is full of life — he loves fetch, park time, zoomies, and being part of the action. He’s smart, sensitive, and thrives with routine, structure, and a calm home. Ozzie bonds deeply with his person and prefers to stay close by your side. He can be overwhelmed by noise and new people, so slow introductions and consistency are key. With the right support, he settles in beautifully. Best home 🏡 Quiet, adult-only or older kids, dog-savvy adopter. Could do well with a calm, confident dog. Care ✨ • Special diet • Daily anxiety meds • Regular grooming • Mild collapsed trachea Good to know 🐶 ✔ Good with dogs & cats ✔ House trained ✔ Great on leash ✔ Medium energy ✔ Travels well ⚠️ Vocal & needs slow intros to people Ozzie is loyal, funny, and full of personality. Not for everyone — but for the right person, he’s everything ❤️
