Meet Archie! Archie is being fostered here in East TN with the rescue. Out of state adopters are welcome and some areas like the northeast and Great Lakes areas have transport available for an additional fee. This little man is one of the sweetest pups ever! He is so handsome and so polite with the other dogs! He is amazing. He is potty trained and passed the puppy stage so no need to worry about chewing or destroying the house. He hates to be crated but since he is so well behaved we don’t bother here at the rescue, he has free range of the house. Not a lot of dogs get that freedom because they can’t be trusted for one reason or another but this little fella here is perfection. He has had a dental done and some teefers removed but he still has plenty of teeth left so he has no special needs other than the normal expectancy for toy breeds needing dental care regularly. It its important to keep him on a good dental schedule: hard kibble, chew treats, dental biscuits and chicken feet from our amazing Dawgy Suds (DawgySuds.com) will help keep those teeth clean, We recommend brushing daily if you can with any small breed just because they are more prone to having dental issues even at early ages. Archie is current on all vaccines, neutered, microchipped and a fresh dental so his kisses don’t knock your socks off. He loves to cuddle and car rides are enjoyable for him. He prefers to sit on your lap and do the driving but he isn’t to persistent about taking the wheel, just your lap lol. He would do best in a home with older children due to his size he is so small a child could unintentionally hurt him or fall on him. apply at petpath.org
