Meet Jinxy!Jinxy is a 5-year-old Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix looking for a calm, adult-only home. She is a sweet, smart, low-key girl who enjoys a quiet lifestyle and just needs a little time to warm up to new people.Why Jinxy is amazing:Great in the car & fully crate-trainedSuper food-motivated and easy to train (knows sit, down, & touch)Prefers pottying outside and is learning to signal at the door. If her cue is missed, she reliably uses a puppy pad.Jinxy hasn't spent much time around other dogs yet and can be a bit vocal/wary when she senses them nearby. Jinxy would do best as an only dog or with very slow introductions to a calm pup. She’s curious about cats and sometimes tries to chase, so a cat-free home or a dog-savvy cat is best.Because she gets a little over-excited about her favorite things (food and toys!) and likes to jump up to say hello, she’d do best in a home without tiny humans.Meet Jinxy, a 5-year-old, 15-pound Pomeranian–Chihuahua mix who looks like she stepped straight out of Santa’s fluff factory. This sweet girl’s world has been flipped upside down after her owner had to move into a nursing home. Now Jinxy is in boarding—scared, confused, and wondering where her cozy Christmas went. But we believe in Christmas miracles, and you can help make one happen. All she needs is a Foster (or Adopter!) to give her a warm home, a soft bed, and a little love while her tiny heart heals.Jinxy is gentle, shy, and SO ready to feel safe again. Lucy is a three year old 5-7 lb female Pomeranian or long haired chi mix. She was surrendered with a pack of small dogs to the Marion animal shelter . Lucy has been spayed and is Heartworm neg. She was very timid at first but has warmed up to me and I can easily pet her and pick her up. I think she needs an adult household. Sly is a ten mo. old pomeranian or long haired chihuahua mix. He was surrendered to Marion animal shelter along with many of his siblings and housemates. Sly was the first one to wag his tail at me and befriend me. He is adorable running through the house and in the backyard with that little fluffy tail held high. He weighs maybe 7 lbs, has longer legs and is doing great with other dogs in his foster home. Sly is neutered and heartworm neg. Herman is an adorable 10 lb pomeranian who is at least ten years old. He came to us with awful breath and has had a dental and 21 teeth removed. It hasn't affected his ability to chow down! He is a total love bug and is so animated when he is feeling his happiest. Herman was found by someone who felt due to the area he was in was probably dumped there. He has acclimated beautifully in his foster home and would make someone a perfect companion.
