We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours. Meet Jinxy!Jinxy is a 5-year-old Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix looking for a calm, adult-only home. She is a sweet, smart, low-key girl who enjoys a quiet lifestyle and just needs a little time to warm up to new people.Why Jinxy is amazing:Great in the car & fully crate-trainedSuper food-motivated and easy to train (knows sit, down, & touch)Prefers pottying outside and is learning to signal at the door. If her cue is missed, she reliably uses a puppy pad.Jinxy hasn't spent much time around other dogs yet and can be a bit vocal/wary when she senses them nearby. Jinxy would do best as an only dog or with very slow introductions to a calm pup. She’s curious about cats and sometimes tries to chase, so a cat-free home or a dog-savvy cat is best.Because she gets a little over-excited about her favorite things (food and toys!) and likes to jump up to say hello, she’d do best in a home without tiny humans.Meet Jinxy, a 5-year-old, 15-pound Pomeranian–Chihuahua mix who looks like she stepped straight out of Santa’s fluff factory. This sweet girl’s world has been flipped upside down after her owner had to move into a nursing home. Now Jinxy is in boarding—scared, confused, and wondering where her cozy Christmas went. But we believe in Christmas miracles, and you can help make one happen. All she needs is a Foster (or Adopter!) to give her a warm home, a soft bed, and a little love while her tiny heart heals.Jinxy is gentle, shy, and SO ready to feel safe again. Red is a senior Pomeranian with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Though he has one eye and limited vision, he doesn’t let that slow him down—he’s still full of spunk and curiosity! Red’s happy place is outside, where he loves rolling around in the grass and soaking up the fresh air. When it’s time to eat, wet food is the way to his heart. Important Care Info: Has heart disease and needs medication twice a day for life Vision impaired (one not so great eye) Big fan of wet food Red is a joyful little companion who thrives with gentle handling, a steady routine, and lots of love.
